This is my first time owning a full sized SUV and after driving the ‘24 Sequoia Platinum for the past six weeks, here are my observations. First the seats are firmer compared to the Expedition Limited and Infinity QX80. Gas Mileage 13-15MPG City 18-23MPG Hwy. it is more fuel efficient to use “Normal” mode when driving on city streets with stop and go traffic. Full tank on a road trip is approximately 450miles. The drive is very comfortable.
There’s seems to be an issue with the power liftgate. If you opened the rear hatch and not made sure it was completely shut, you will have the error tone when using the liftgate. Indoor cabin is very quiet, ventilated and heated seats are very comfortable. The vehicle does not have the Toyota “Digital Key”but the Toyota App for remote start and lock/unlock works. I am unsure why it was not available. For charging your phones, this comes with both USB A and USB C ports. It doesn’t have the traditional “cigarette adapter”.

Approximately how much would the SEQUOIA be worth at the end of the 6 years?

  • @muko2002

Got a quote for insurance for the platinum and it would have been $1400 for 6 months . It is pricey. Our 23 Highlander is at 1000k for 6 months and my 15 ram single cab for $750.

I pay less for full coverage.on two cars than it would cost to insure the Sequoia for 6 months 😂

Don’t listen to her. 8% on a brand new car is way too high
I got .09% on my tundra. I know that a special offering but for a new car interest should not be over 4%

Agreed, some things may not make sense for people who buy cars to keep two years but for those who drive cars 10+ years, this car does make sense. I know a guy still driving his 2008 model and it gives him no issues. almost at 300k miles.
