Used to have an epiphone bridge on my Jaguar then I upgraded to the gotoh bridge and never looked back. Did the same to an epiphone sg and the strings were more slinky and they definitely has what I’m looking for
Not only the sustain is longer, but strings ring out much stronger than before. It's something I too plan on doing on my guitar, not much for sustain, but to solve some tiny intonation nuisances on higher strings (the TOM I have is still the stock one in my cheap axe 😊) .
I was really wondering if the bridge makes much of a difference and it seems that it is and I'll put one of this on my next upgrade list. Thank you for the video p.s: Oh man that Epi is just beautiful :)
Sim, depois também há outros fatores como as madeiras e o material do fretboard, que neste caso nem é madeira mas uma especie de baquelite, tudo acaba por contribuir para o sustain
How about strum that cord clean, the drive helps to keep that sustain going. Never show off a test with gain, like guy will crank up the amp while testing the latest Alnico 2 or 4 PAF Pixie Dust humbucker.
Nice! Thank you for this demo!
You could go and have a bite and you'll still be hearing that one.
:D

Gotoh stuff seems good. There is also Tonepros, but it's more expensive
Night/Day Gotoh 👽
Yeah . . i'm using 10.5's / 48 and the gotoh notches are going to be plenty of contact and string hold . .

Your strings were buzzing before... anyways, is an upgrade, materials are not the same
Não é a noite para o dia mas de facto nota-se uma melhoria.
