Added drift wheels/tires to mine from amazon, pulled the diffs out and locked them up with a few drops of super glue, drifts awesome now! Wish it had a little more steering but its a fun little car for the price.
Power Craze rc are a lot of fun I keep a couple in my work truck to drive around on my lunch break. Have seen the drifter rc at Tractor Supply in my area
Drifting this mini drift truck is so much fun, i drift it a lot on the asphalt that my tyre become slick which made drifting a bit better. I got this at Costco for $20 instead of $29, which is a good deal. The Power Craze Drifter is similar to the WLToys 284131, the wheels and tyres for the WLToys one can probably fit in the Power Craze Drifter as well.
I would think the wheels would be nearly the same as the WL toys although I’ve never had one of these WL Toys little 1/28’s. $20 is a steal. Wish they would’ve made one set of tires a plastic set to make drifting on asphalt and bare concrete a little easier.
Cool, Its small; but at least it has lights, propotional control, and some cohonies. Good one to get the younger generation introduced to the hobby - good 1st rc.
@@One1hunt4r ok I’ll have to try it when I get another mini drifter. I don’t have this truck anymore. It was one of the ones that got donated to local kids in need for Christmas.
Yeah this little truck rips. Has a lot of get up and go. Didn’t get too close to their speed claim but doesn’t mean it isn’t fast. I had some fun with this one.
Yeah they do. It’s called the safari racer and they also have a short course style truck too. Safari racer doesn’t look like it’s really meant for drifting.
@@billcowens3408 but it ran down a slight hill so I doubt the 1 ounce that the gps weighs would make that big of a difference when I’m running on downhill on my speed run. I could see if I was running uphill then yes absolutely the weight of the gps would definitely slow it down.
A heavy object? The gps weighs 1 ounce. I also ran the truck both on a slight up uphill and slight downhill so that “heavy” object shouldn’t have come into play when it was coming downhill. If anything it would’ve helped it. Glad you got 18+ out of yours.
This is how ignorant your part on signal light is. That can be educational in a way. But hey, what can a person that is not responsible would think on that?
Such a fun little truck. I'm a total sucker for micro RCs.
I think the reason why it didn't go 18 mph was because there was a heavy radar on it
Wow that thing ROCKS! I really want one. I love small rc cars that perform well.
This one does pretty well. Drifted better than I was expecting even with the tread that was on the tires.
@@ReadytoRunRC at such a low price I'm tempted to get two of them just to find a racing buddy and go at it

Wouldn't happen to know exactly what size the tiny wheelnuts are? I lost one changing the wheels😢
How did you get the body off

That’s where I first saw this one. I know costco also sells Power Craze.

This would be a great intro rc for anyone. And it’s small enough to help pass the winter months indoors.
The grey tires it comes with are a softer compound drifts way better with them on slick surfaces!
Something to try, put tape on the wheels it makes it drift way better! It slows it down a tiny bit but in my opinion it is so worth it.
Definitely will keep that in mind.
I used scotch tape.

Had already 3 of them
All of them had same issue. After the certain time they gears gets worn and is impossible to find replacement
Maybe the grey tires are to get up to 18mph
How do you pop the body off? I have one I want to paint
Push the body mounts through the body.
Do the top speed fully charged and try to get the flat like the shop
what size is the nut on the wheel
M2
Scalewise, it's pretty darn fast/quick.

If I remember correctly that brand has a jeep one also. Seen it at a discount store for like 20-25 bucks not sure if it is for drifting though.

Can I put a video on how to change the wheels and how to clean the tire from hair
@@Thatsyourboy101 sure if you want to. It’s your channel so you can do what you want and put any video want to put on it.
i got that with $20 from cosco today!
Sweet deal!
It definitely performs well for a 45.00 car
It’s actually down to $39 now. I only saw it when I was putting my affiliate link in after I made the video. That’s a great deal for this.
The weight of the gps is where you lost your top speed, that's a lil truck and that weight is the difference

Nice and small, nice-looking as well. Wonder how long the battery last ?
I unfortunately didn’t run the battery to low voltage while filming. I know I easily ran at least 12 minutes and it still had no sign of slowing down.
But there was a heavy object on it because I have 1 and it goes 18+ mph
