So I got my version of this a few days ago, here are first impressions: * It is really a road car with pretty minimal off-road capabilities. No surprise there, it's a "traditional" rally car much like the Lancia Delta Integrale that it's based on. * I'm not sure how it compares to other rally cars (like the Tamiya TT-02 and XV-01 cars), but the design seems to have some... idiosyncracies. For reasons that I don't quite understand, the suspension seems kind of bound up and the suspension arms don't spring back easily. I lubed it all up and it works better, but out of the box it is assembled a little tight. * It's also had tons of problems picking up debris that gets stuck in the suspension and steering, despite the fact that I'm not really running it offroad. Oddly, its brothers (the MJX buggy and monster truck) almost never pick up so much debris. I feel like the very low ground clearance and flat chassis (compared to the other MJXes which are more like tubs) are contributing to the debris problem. * The Lancia body does bump into the tires pretty badly -- it was bad enough that the steering was getting stuck when I was driving offroad. I've cut the wheel wells back and it's better. * The power system is amazing, just like the other MJX cars. Just oodles and oodles of straight-line power and speed on 3S. The gyro makes it run like it's on rails. I don't race road cars, in fact I've never owned a proper road car, so I can't really compare it beyond that. For $125 with free shipping, I can't complain at all, and it's definitely fun to hoon it around a parking lot. I'd give it 2 out of 4 stars for "design issues", but 4 out of 4 for value for money. It's a great "toy class" machine.

Very good video keeping it short but talking about everything important
I love my HyperGo 14301 black truck edition on 3s lipos
Yet another great video and what a great little car for the price if you do get all the wheels and 2 batteries it is well worth it but I myself would run it on the 2s lipo.
Please keep these excellent videos coming.

You could put some weather stripping on the chassis guard to push out the body.
That's incredible for the price.
👊
Just wish it had cooler wheels. One of the best parts of a Lancia DI Evolution is the wheels.
Has the factory put grease in the diffs
Phil you should give some size comparison with the sg1602
I bought one of these after watching your video and one other. Ive already bought a second one and the first just arrived today. 😅😂
Thats got some giddy up on 3s
You're a bloody trip!!
I’ll be whatever you want me to be 😅
@@TomleyRC careful who you say that to...😅🤣
@@nouse4aname_ haha
That is quick on 3s wow
holy crap thats a nice piece of kit for the price
better solution than using heat on the body is glue some foam on the chasis that an hold the side body in place
What an awesome bit of kit !
Would love to see that bombing round the Rally Course at Riverside RC.
Also would be interesting to see it on "light sand" as in a beach side carpark where it has a layer of sand ove a hard base.
I also twigged the "tooned" nature of the body when you unboxed it.
What was the esc temp like, did you need to fit the fan ??
Is the speed variable?
Lovin these videos man 😎
Fun car, but if one is to purchase an RC car, Tamiya only way to go. Reliable, parts, residual value. Proven performance. Cheers.
Nice shots and editing ❤
Welldone Tomley, I only managed to clock the speed to 63km with 3s lipo
It is engineered wonderfully
Nice run Phil!
Can you adjust the height it looks bit too low for offroad
Very cool 😎
