He's not trying to make an entrance like Elvis, he just really likes riding his dual-sport, so he skips the bus and rides between as many shows as possible.

Neil did own a Ducati 916 at one point: a gift from his late wife. He mentions in "Ghost Rider" that he kept it indoors and didn't take it out much, if at all.

His preferred bike is a BMW R1200 -- there's lots of footage and pics of Neil and this bike. Ducati? Well, the man could own one -- I'm sure his garage is large enough.
