Oh, Sea World Australia, I've heard of them before. Fun Fact, before they had the Nickelodeon Universe land for families/kids, that land was originally taken up by the Sesame Street Muppets under the name "Sesame Street Beach." Also, I recall them having a Spongebob themed parade back in 2011/2012; guessing it closed down sometime later since you don't mention it in the video and one of the shows you mentioned in your video show the same layout the SB parade used. Loved the video, as always.
Bermuda Triangle was the best part of Sea World. It was a sad day when I returned to Sea World for the first time since I was a kid, only to find the Bermuda Triangle had been closed just a few weeks before. R.I.P.
I preferred Bermuda Triangle but the Viking flume ride was still pretty fun. I just was always terrified it was going to capsize coz of how thin and long they were. This was way before the Dreamworld incident aswell so it wasn't a fear driven from that.
Haven't been there for ages, and I can't say It would be on the top of my list to go back, they need to improve if they hope to survive much longer. Thanks for sharing a local park
there was a water teacup ride not mentioned in this video, but I rode it like 10 times and when I went home and went to bed, my head was still spinning
Jet Rescue would have to be my favourite at the park, Storm I found to be a really big let down after The Bermuda Triangle was taken down. Am really looking forward to the new wooden roller coaster Leviathan though. On a hot day running around on the water cannon boats soaking people is always fun as well hehehe
Not that long ago they had a pretty good thrilling coaster in an orange colour, shame they got rid of it. I last went there in 2013 and was surprised how good it was since 2003. I'm heading there in March 2020.
Congrats on your engagement! Great video. Always so excited to watch your videos due to the fact that it's usually Australia based which doesn't get enough coverage from the rest of the theme park channels. I still love the other videos though because they always are history enriched and provide a new perspective on an attraction even if I'm already familiar with it. Keep up the good work and continue to make Australia proud!
SeaWorld is most definitely a family park. Being a marine park means the rides will always come second. Kids can have their first ride in a big roller coaster here. My son was three and a half when he first went on storm coaster ( he’s rather tall for his age ) and it’s created great memories over the years ( he is now almost six ). Even at ray reef you can have a great time. Even if you don’t choose to feed the rays ;) . Food is pricy and without a discount for even pass holders that’s a little stinging point. I am looking forward to the future. The park needs these kind of investments, but they need to remember one thing. It is and always will be a marine park. Brilliant job boys.
Love this channel. Great commentary, great footage, and very informative. I've been on the fence as to whether or not I should go once I arrive in Australia, but this video convinced me to. Cheers!
Last time we went the only things that where closed online was storm and the sting ray petting thing. But in saying that as we where going to ride the jetSki ride it was closed for testing. They said it would only take around 40 mins so we just walked around the park we came back around 1 hour later and it was still closed. So we waited more another hour later and it was STILL closed so we ended up leaving and my parents weren’t happy.
Great video and story of a park that, let's face it, we all thought initially for those who have never heard of it, to be a "SeaWorld" theme park out Down Under! Lol, I love the backstory of your engagement happening there and its focus on the families while having some decent actual rides, plus with some context on what's coming. It is not a theme park giant like say Disney, Universal, or "SeaWorld" but it holds its own in what it does and I'd like to visit it one day. Review of ReviewTyme's review: 100 out of 100! A perfect score for a perfect channel and team. I think that's never been done before (a review of the channel lol)
Yeah Sea World Australia has no connection to the SeaWorld Parks in America, just happens to share the same name (Though with a space in the middle!) - Luke
I went to SeaWorld,Wet’n’Wild and Movieworld for the first time a few months ago and I want to go back it was the best time of my life...but I can’t because of COVID-19😢
Thanks mate, literally watching this an hour before we go. Already stalked SeaWorld website and know the storm and 2 of the nick rides are under maintenance (booooooo) but your review didn't sugar coat, was harsh and fair. My first visit was nearly 30 years ago, now I'm taking the wife and a 4 year old. So I'll keep the possibility of disappointment to myself knowing there is beer. Thanks mate 👍👍👍
this park isnt owned by SeaWorld (orlando) so why and how is no one being sued? they have the same name and concept but arent the same company. doesnt that go againt the copyrighted name?
The reason theme parks like SeaWorld and dreamworld are not popular cuz Gold Coast doesn’t have a lot of people they have less then 1M people and Gold Coast isn’t a major city in Australia only Brisbane Melbourne Sydney and Canberra are
I've Might Go To SeaWorld Gold Coast Australia During My Australia And Hong Kong China Holiday Megatrip Next Year November 2022. Wish Me Luck. Thanks Mate. X
It is another one, this one does not have whales, this one is from Australia, the one that you were meaning was from the us, both parks are different. Ppl confuse these 2 parks, there are totally different but have the same name
Sea World Australia is not associated with the American Seaworlds in which Blackfish is about. Sea World Australia has a world-class conversation program and is accredited by the Zoo & Aquarium Association of Australia. seaworld.com.au/conservation
This is a location used in H2O Just Add Water, & Mako Mermaids for the underwater shots and also the park itself too plays a role in both shows.
Yes!
YESSS FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED IT
Yep
Wow

12:08 - seeing the coaster in the background and lighthouse (both now gone) brings back memories.
Planet Coaster?
What?
Yep is fiting
Beautiful
Yes he used the planet coaster theme
Yeah my man’s a planet coaster fan
RIP Bermuda Triangle best themed ride of my childhood
That Alien chick used to freak me out xD
Great ride, still find it creepy to this day. Really sad it closed
that was the scariest ride. i use to cry when the skeletons came out
You can still visit it nowadays in Germany
Love the planet coaster intro!

I think I remember that parade
Yes but they should turn nickelodeon land intro the loud house land in the future

Is nobody gonna talk about the show they filmed there H2O Just Add Water? I’d be FANGIRLING if I was there 😂
I did talk about that and this is one of the places I want to visit someday.
I was there 10 years ago, and this made me so sad as so much has changed since I was last there :(
THATS WHEN THEY WERE FILMING H2O!
Kelly Caragay can’t?
The log flume was closed for good about a year or two ago unfortunately. It was a family favourite too
I preferred Bermuda Triangle but the Viking flume ride was still pretty fun. I just was always terrified it was going to capsize coz of how thin and long they were. This was way before the Dreamworld incident aswell so it wasn't a fear driven from that.
Every thing was closed
Bill Papas ?

Awesome, I live on the Gold Coast so I get to go there often!
Must be nice
I love Queensland it’s the best state in Australia
RIP Viking's Revenge :( Also could you please do a video on Dreamworld? I reckon that would be pretty cool. Excellent video as well.
Hopefully one day it will return. It’s pretty much all still there! - Dom
That was my favourite ride☹

Andrew Black it was called the Corkscrew and then the Sea Viper before it was closed in 2014. It was my first looping roller coaster
ThE 1 BarbariaN great ride for that theme park I thought 🙂
@@andrewblack423 agreed, along with the viking flume ride
slick shot with Squidward on the bench

Same when I went there just before this pandemic started heaps of stuff were down which ruined the flow
Misses Bermuda Triangle, and they totally should've replaced the Log ride with something similar, but more modern.
I went to Seaworld 6 years ago and the smell of chlorine at the Storm ride is still so vivid to me.
Every time I go to sea world I see a baby turtle
I loved the music so much on this video.
I’ve been on all of the rides and I love the JET SKI RIDE it may look scary but it’s so fun and not scary :) go try it if you haven’t

I loved the experience. I went in the 80s and they are much better at hiding the penguin bruises nowadays.

Wait...is Sea World Australia a different entity from the Sea Worlds in the US? Cause it was saying that it was the first Sea World
Yeah Sea World Australia has no connection to the SeaWorld Parks in America, just happens to share the same name (Though with a space in the middle!) - Luke
It’s late but the new Atlantis is here. Can’t wait for a follow up video!
Great review, I'm looking forward to the updates. I wonder why they chose to go with a wooden coaster over the more common steel types.
Maybe for some type of theming?
I’m still sad they removed the Viking flume ride haha
Congratulations on ur marriage!
I went to SeaWorld,Wet’n’Wild and Movieworld for the first time a few months ago and I want to go back it was the best time of my life...but I can’t because of COVID-19😢
The new Atlantis zone is desperately needed. The park gets pretty boring very quickly.
Here's a fact, "The Bermuda Triangle" was originally called "Lassiter's Lost Mine"
Love the planet coaster music
Great review! Looking forward to Atlantis, especially Leviathan!
I love Australia only for some places also this is very beautiful and wonderfully view with eyes❤❤❤australia 🇦🇺
Can't wait to go back, will be sad without all the old classics though, hope the new area will be good 👌 you should do a wet n wild review

Happy to help! We hope you enjoy your day today at Sea World :) - Dom
I am going here next week
Nicee
They torture dolphins and sea lions so you'll buy tickets.
Planet coaster background music
Is that the Planet Coaster music?
A lot has changed since I last visited this park
I think you should do a new review scene the opening of the levy
Great vid as always!
Thanks for adding planet coaster theme! ❤️🎊🎉I love planet coaster!
Have you been to this park ever since they've added the Atlantis area? If so, what did you think of that?
Ok as soon as I saw this I immediately got there and LOVED 🥰 IT
i remember Dexter's Lavatory rocket
Gold Coast lacks a Disney World! It would be great to have Disney World in Gold Coast similar to the one in Orlando
Would never happen, we dont have the population to support it.
You should o Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia, USA next. Rumored to be the best themed park in America
It would be cool if Seaworld San Diego had a Nickelodeon themed family area instead of Sesame Street
this park isnt owned by SeaWorld (orlando) so why and how is no one being sued? they have the same name and concept but arent the same company. doesnt that go againt the copyrighted name?
No mate this one is in Australia 🇦🇺 the guys in Orlando don’t operate here
This park opened before Seaworld Orlando. They have no claim to the Sea World name in Australia.
It's kind of a generic name at this point.
The reason theme parks like SeaWorld and dreamworld are not popular cuz Gold Coast doesn’t have a lot of people they have less then 1M people and Gold Coast isn’t a major city in Australia only Brisbane Melbourne Sydney and Canberra are
Great review! Loved this video.
Mostly because im not going to Australia very soon :)
I've been on the Storm Coaster
Why planet coaster music?
I've Might Go To SeaWorld Gold Coast Australia During My Australia And Hong Kong China Holiday Megatrip Next Year November 2022. Wish Me Luck. Thanks Mate. X
I have been here before! It’s soooo good! Yassss!
Planet Coaster
I would rather go to spend money on passes for dreamworld.
I went on the storm coster
Amazing
I love seaworld but they need more rides than the new ones they are putting in 5 rides ain’t much
Empty the tanks :/
Top
H2o just add water
Me and my family and my mum's boyfriend and his child is going to sea world
WOW
And jet rescue
Me watching this bc I love h20 just add water too much
nice
So sad.. Looks so vacant... It needs to find its soul again
erik sinica don’t worry its very populated!
Captivity is cruelty
It is another one, this one does not have whales, this one is from Australia, the one that you were meaning was from the us, both parks are different. Ppl confuse these 2 parks, there are totally different but have the same name
It’s a shit place to go, nothing for those who don’t like coasters like parents. 2 out off 10 for whole park, only 2 cause it has beer and food.
Don't go, they are animal exploiters
Anyone seen blackfish? definitely recommend before visiting
