Gotta be honest, I’ve always preferred this version. I love the original of course, it’s iconic. But this one fits the tone of transformers better. It’s a bit darker and grittier, but transformers is, fundamentally, a series about war. This song fits the tone of a war far better, and for me, it is the definitive edition of the song.
Ok now I want bay version of that scene from the 1986 movie with this as the song in the background

absolutely incredible,. This is how transformers as a whole should be handled. adding a contemporary vibe to an already amazing song, but keeping all the points that strike that nostalgic cord intact.

I really enjoyed this song. I'm both a huge music and Transformers buff. My friend showed me the original 1986 movie and I throughly enjoyed your music in there. This is an awesome re-rendition of your original and even though some might not like it, I do. Please continue to make such awesome music!
Some people complain at some rock artist for "sounding just like it did back in the 80's". I think this is a good evidence that they SHOULD try to sound like they did in the 80's. We like that sort of music because it DOES NOT sound like modern day rock. Stan Bush is awesome for singing this newer version really really well, but the old version is miles better, musical wise!

Killer! Definitely my style - fresh, but yet those vocals are sweet ... I've found it just a bit harder to hit those high notes without daily practice -- I seem to hear a touch of a Dokken type influence ... I'm digging it!

I remember when the original, animated Transformers movie came out. I'm still a bit screwed up from seeing Optimus Prime die. Trust me - I know who made this song originally.

I guess "The Touch" was written for the Sylvester Stallone movie Cobra but the decided the song was too cheesy for the film. Your whole childhood is a lie!
I get that a lot of people prefer the original version, I just like this one cuz its.. I dunno, it pumps me with adrenaline. The original was great, but this one works better as a work out song for me.

It's like the edgy teen version of the original, like it's alright
i still love the original, but this one is almost as good, but the original jut had more impact because it went along with the death of a historic icon that caused so much tragedy and trauma that even todate its considered one of teh most impacted deaths ever

@BigSteve300 Part pro-wrestling show, part live-action comic book. Chikara puts a lot of emphasis on cartoony characters, acrobatics, and physical comedy. It's pretty fun to watch.
Transformers isn't Transformers without Stan bush.

This song is MUCH improved by the removal of the rap. However, it's still not quite as iconic as the original or even the version from your '06 album. Still, any improvement over that rap is a good one.

Even when I was a kid in the 80s the original version was a bit too campy to me, I prefer this version better, besides it is the same guys from the original anyway so it's all good.
