absolutely incredible,. This is how transformers as a whole should be handled. adding a contemporary vibe to an already amazing song, but keeping all the points that strike that nostalgic cord intact. Seriously, Thank you.
Gotta be honest, I’ve always preferred this version. I love the original of course, it’s iconic. But this one fits the tone of transformers better. It’s a bit darker and grittier, but transformers is, fundamentally, a series about war. This song fits the tone of a war far better, and for me, it is the definitive edition of the song.
I actually liked this version enough to make my own iOS GarageBand cover of part of it and I uploaded it to my channel. Feel free to check it out if you want to see it.
I really enjoyed this song. I'm both a huge music and Transformers buff. My friend showed me the original 1986 movie and I throughly enjoyed your music in there. This is an awesome re-rendition of your original and even though some might not like it, I do. Please continue to make such awesome music!

Some people complain at some rock artist for "sounding just like it did back in the 80's". I think this is a good evidence that they SHOULD try to sound like they did in the 80's. We like that sort of music because it DOES NOT sound like modern day rock. Stan Bush is awesome for singing this newer version really really well, but the old version is miles better, musical wise!
This Version ROCKS an should have been on the movie. I wonder if they will ever make a live version of the original movie? But with all the mix ups in the other movies I don't think they will.
Killer! Definitely my style - fresh, but yet those vocals are sweet ... I've found it just a bit harder to hit those high notes without daily practice -- I seem to hear a touch of a Dokken type influence ... I'm digging it!
that moment you realize transformers wfc plus transformers foc (both video games)would have been a better movie then all the live action movies combinded storyline wise
I get that a lot of people prefer the original version, I just like this one cuz its.. I dunno, it pumps me with adrenaline. The original was great, but this one works better as a work out song for me.
MrDevilsbrood1012 Yes, and then he made this horrendous remake in a blatant attempt at a cash grab. I remember when the original, animated Transformers movie came out. I'm still a bit screwed up from seeing Optimus Prime die. Trust me - I know who made this song originally.
I guess "The Touch" was written for the Sylvester Stallone movie Cobra but the decided the song was too cheesy for the film. Your whole childhood is a lie!
Isn't too shabby for the new style he was going for, his voice really pulls it off. The original is a lot better though, it just make you wanna get up and start busting a move.

@BigSteve300 Part pro-wrestling show, part live-action comic book. Chikara puts a lot of emphasis on cartoony characters, acrobatics, and physical comedy. It's pretty fun to watch.

Even when I was a kid in the 80s the original version was a bit too campy to me, I prefer this version better, besides it is the same guys from the original anyway so it's all good.
This song is MUCH improved by the removal of the rap. However, it's still not quite as iconic as the original or even the version from your '06 album. Still, any improvement over that rap is a good one.

Well, I still like the original song and the 07' version better. It's good in it's own way, but I prefer the super up-beat "HELL YEAH" attitude of the other two.

@roderickpass The one you hear here is on the album, it's just 20 seconds longer total running time. Thanks!
OH MY GOD! I Love when I see musicians... not only that stay so good after all these years...but always surprise me with their evolved work!

I LOVE this. This is just as good as the original version, if not better. I wish it had made it into the film.
I love this version
@GambitCards Right on! The album version is about 20 seconds longer than what you'll hear here.
Love it! Great take on a wonderful classic - well done, Stan Bush!

This is legitimately epic
Everytime I feel down I hear this song and alwaise cheeres me up and reminds me that geving up is always a coward's way out!
Seeing the scenes play i remembered how hard this hit, hopefullh the reboot movie hits just as hard
Omg!! Totally love it!
I really dig this unrapped version. Go Stan!
awesome video
Still Listening to this song today
I love both versions it works listen to one for working out the other just to rock out
Now this is much better Stan, keep up the great work.
I love this song!

I'm guessing the version of the song with the rap didnt get good feedback, thats why it was cut out? Im glad it did. Love this version!
3:06 Where's my Spoiler alert for a 12 year old movie, Stan?
Gosh, I feel old when I think it's been that long
So cool! Roll Out
I am sick, dying in a hospital.
I need to sue Stan Bush.

@@arcticangel1628 6 years later am I right and yes a I agree with you
It’s nice knowing people are still coming back
But little about Transformers war for cybertron game
First 4 were films were great. 5 and BB sucked
Which are completely irrelevant to the video.
WOW stan you da man !!!
Nice a classic song redone put to the new Transformers film. Bad ass idea.
I get that a lot of people prefer the original version, I just like this one cuz its.. I dunno, it pumps me with adrenaline. The original was great, but this one works better as a work out song for me.

Honestly--I liked it just fine with the rap. This is good, too, though.

I blame Chikara for getting me hooked. I faintly remember the 80's version. I do like the modern spin to it.
Hasn't Michael Bay ruined enough of my childhood without Stan Bush driving the final nail in the coffin?
psychorabbitt
you do know stan bush created the original version of this song right?
MrDevilsbrood1012 Yes, and then he made this horrendous remake in a blatant attempt at a cash grab.

psychorabbitt it could be worse at least he did not make a soundtrack for a tv series
SUCKS that MICHAEL BAY no apparently ruined the old skool music as well by influencing STAN Bush. FUCK this sucks!
I guess "The Touch" was written for the Sylvester Stallone movie Cobra but the decided the song was too cheesy for the film. Your whole childhood is a lie!

You have to admit, this one is dame good too.
It's like the edgy teen version of the original, like it's alright
el tema es genial tendria que haber cerrado la maldita pelicula.
What happened to him besides the rock parts
It's like someone mixed Stan Bush and early Linkin Park and wound up with awesome!
Nice job, Stan. Not as good as the original but this is great.

@TheInflicted
What's Chikara?
I saw (NO RAP) and I was like: yes.
I have no idea who put rap in this before, but it's a bad idea.
