I saw the Shack Shakers a few years back in Hollywood, that club's not even there anymore. My jaw hit the floor when they started, and I picked it back up when I left. J.D. Wilkes don't stop! Boy, is he weird!

"Weird" barely covers it. I first saw the LSS's in the mid 90's. The band played shack shakin music back then. JD was a great harmonica player even at that early stage. But from the vids I've seen lately...yikes. JD is out there.

Saw them on the calendar for an upcoming show at my favorite local punk venue. Had never heard of them before. Amazing roots rock. Will definitely check them out!
