If we are banning flamberge and putting ash to one. OSS can stay in my opinion it allows SE to be used as an engine in weaker fire decks such as infernoid and doesn’t make diabelle and wanted obsolete cards.
No. If you want the diabellastar package, fine but I hope they annihilate SE. If OSS stays then SE Ash gets banned along with flamburge. I don't even want to see SE as a rogue deck.
gamma to 2, called by to 2 and then shifter to 2 so that way we have more counters to shifter and mulcharmys. We would match the OCG with these changes.
Shifter, nib and drnm all need to be in the game at 3 to balance the pace of the game. If any of these 3 leave I feel it could upset the balance of the entire game. They introduced these cards all at once for a good reason and haven’t touched them since. As it should be. Nib was to counter the insane million combo decks, drnm is to counter negates and shifter is the only thing really keeping graveyard based decks in check.
Good players always set up something to activate to get around DRNM, it doesnt feel as powerful as it used to when high tier decks can set the whole board from 1 or 2 cards and have 3 potential cards to get around your only way around the board.
No because drnm and nib clear mentioned power bases at point of activation. Shifter is lingering and protected by game mechanic, it is the worst hand trap ever printed. Macro cosmos and skill drain can be outed, fissure and dark law can be outed. Shifter can.not. And I am not even hating the card, I usually win against it due to divine luck and experience. But I am stating the obvious, it is unfair no cap.

What do you think about Electrumite? After all the pendulum support that comes set after set, I guess (hope) they bring it back to 1. Maybe Errata it with a once per turn.
Personally think skill drain is to powerful even at one. With decks having the ability to stop their opps turn with it and shut off skill drain during their own is crazy. White forest can get rid of it extremely easy and then recycle it back to their hand with queen to set and activate during the opponents turn again.
About disagreeing: - Yubel is not as bad as Snakes and too new for direct hits. I totally agree on 1 Phantom but on the next list not this one. Going to 2 like SP in the OCG is fine. - DBB is a much better hit than Gates because it forces you to run a brick + no yubel engine means you cant activate 2nd gates because there wont be any target. Having the 2 dark fiend bodies is overal more helpful. - An alternative would be Spirit to 1. Makes bystials high impact handtraps and forces the deck to run Terror, adding an extra brick. Snakes: - Flam wasn't leaked as a reprint in the tins so it has to go. It's block dragon anyway. - OSS however is tied to lore and hits more other fire decks. Personally i would prefer banning Oak and limiting Poplar instead. - For SnAsh, it got an ulti and the last OTS ULTI hit was Fusion Destiny to 2 for a single list. Tenpai - I believe in TCG they won't be able to keep up with a single field spell, so i was thinking about limiting Kaimen instead, or using a combination of semi limits so they are forced to use the non tenpai normal summon. This + a needed Prosperity limit would be a great blow to consistency so they can't comfortably run 25 non-engine
I was thinking of Shifter + Gamma to 2 but after some master duel gameplay I understand Gamma is wrong, especially with Omega replacing Baronne. Another hit I forgot to mention is a limit to strings to make the gimmick FTK harder while also a "wishlist" hit would be to ban Protos again
Finally about Runick, I would prefer every Runick at 3 and Hugin at 1. It's the real hit for the deck making Ash/Imperm impactful and would make floodgates more vulnerable instead of having multiple protections. Other formats have Terra and Instant Fusion banned, Hugin is 20 copies of both together
I'm not sure how to feel about the state of the game in general even despite a banlist. I started playing in April of 2023, having never played before besides when my uncle bought me a starter deck Kaiba in 2000 something. I played magic since Dissension block (2006), and enjoyed playing until I stopped in January of 2023. Magic made some changes in design I didn't agree with, saw it get worse, tried to see the best in the changes but ultimately decided to stop playing. I learned to play Yugioh pretty slow, looked at lots of strategies, and was wondering why anyone would play anything but a Link deck. I've been told Fusion, Synchro, and XYZ we're good at points in the game, too, but looking at what links can do currently makes me wonder if the game needs a new master rule applied. I've been told master rules usually coincide with new releases of the anime though so I'm not sure it would happen. Is the downside to Link strategies the arrows they have? Fusion generally requires a Fusion card or Poly, Synchro requires a matching number of levels top the card you want to Synchro, XYZ requires 2 of the same levels usually, but Link seems to have very loose requirements with no apparent downside that appear to just dominate even when an opponent does interact with you (Hiiata or Dharc as an example). Most decks in the game want to send stuff to the graveyard anyways, as in Yugioh the graveyard is just an extension of your hand/deck for most strategies anyways, which makes cards like Dimension Shifter or Dimensional Fissure usualy a turn ending card. If Konami bans the cards that are overtuned/overperforming, people will look for the next best thing, and some may quit. I don't see myself quitting as the game itself has helped me be more social, meet new friends, travel, and seeing others enjoy the game. Do you see a potential future where a new master rule is created to bring the power down in the game as a whole?
i think the new master rule should be regarding improving the going second and an update regarding time rules. the power level should be fixed by the banlist

Runick cards are not the problem, the floodgates are. The cards that allow the toxic play pattern are cards like skill drain rivalry or synchrozone. If runick stun looses the floodgates, the deck stops working and now we have to play runick combo variants that are much more healthy and can get smoked my cards like druler or a combination of handtraps
I definitely feel there needs to be a huge discussion on handtraps being limited/banned as a precursor to working on the problems the game has. handtraps are bandaids that mask the deeprooted problems in the game and until we expose them we cant begin to work out the issues to make our game healthier. also no deck should have 12-20 handtraps and be good this also limits the game we rely too heavy on them doesnt promote imagination in deck building.
@Raphael4722 i agree with you. you still miss the point that handtraps are masking/hiding the other problems of this game. they are essentially preventing this game from getting better. you say it takes skill to play around handtraps and i agree, but we need to focus on the health of the game and improving the whole game requires hundreds of cards to be banned and limited. they should be banned and limited so we can start to ban and limit the other problems of the game.

I don't think it's fair to talk about hitting Phantom at this time tbh. Snake eyes has been relevant for almost 3 times longer than Yubel even got Phantom of yubel. you can't even say Yubel was meta during that time since you and most other people didn't consider it good until Phantom came out, even though most people were playing it wrong (i.e. playing it as a super poly deck when it wasn't quite literally you could play it fiend link like people are now and not have any issues) Hitting spirit gates is fine imo since that card has been out for a very long time now and is one of the most important starters/extenders/recurrsion for the deck if you don't have access to the yubel cards already. also Rage can also recycle Phantom and that's why I think the correct number to run phantom at is 2. no discussion on that.
The old argument about shifter being semi-limited cause the drawback is going to be too hard to deal with is dead with the Mulcharmys and Tenpai, you need to ban shifter. Sangen Summoning to one without other hits does nothing to tenpai, especially with shifter and Mulcharmys in the game, ban field spell and limit the red turner.
