They label it as a Gibson and I didn’t wanna show it off as a product it’s not. I painted over it now so it’s just got a blank headstock. Thanks for watching
I have a REAL Gibson 335, that I've spent a lot of money on over the years (pickups, frets, maintenance etc.) It's the best guitar I own, have done hundreds of gigs with it over the years and I will go to the grave with it...BUT, I have no idea how to do guitar work on it. I'm thinking of getting a Chibson 335 for no other reason, but to learn to work on a semi-hollow body guitar. Changing pots, wiring, cutting the nut, repairing frets. I have no idea how to do this stuff on a 335, and I should know. Maybe buying a Chibson as a "guinea pig" guitar is a good idea...if (that is, when) I screw it up, who cares?
Especially without a sound sample. The body shape was cpied by JHS Vintage for their excellent version, but then they got hammered with a "cease and desist" so they then made their bodyshape version assymetric without the fancy inlays and other features so that they got round the threat of litigation. This chibson (I'm sure you're right) runs the same risk . . . if the actual address and name of the actual manufacturing company can be found within the open, free and totally democratic Chinese world of commerce. Having said that, I've played a couple of Chinese-made instruments that well-and-truly passed muster. I doubt that this fake 335 will be a match. Maybe he'll upload an honest sound sample? Down-thumbed for such a pointless non-reveal of the sound and tone.
Why did you not show the brand? Just curious..not interested in that style but still.. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
It's likely a counterfeit Gibson.

That’s actually a really good idea, use it as kinda training guitar. Thanks for watching👍🏻👍🏻
Original 335s had dot inlays on the neck from 1958 then changed to small block inlays in 1962.
I think the small blocks inlays were ES-330's and came with PAFs and/or P-90s.
Nice headstock!
Why didn't you show the headstock in the crappy tuners you were talking about, and where did you buy it !
Based on price, I’m going to assume firefly or iyv or something
Yes you are correct, it came with a firefly sticker
Adding a Bigsby on your own would cost at least $150 for a new one.
the F-holes are too wide and wouldn't have binding on an actual ES335. The whole thing basically looks cheap
..you give the impression your going to play it but never do.
I'm tempted to order one of these because I can't justify a $4000 CAD purchase on the real thing. Probably will have to settle on an Epiphone. 😭
No. The early ES-335s were dot necks.
This is not the cheapest by any means. Why not show the brand?
Wtf? no link? abrupt ending? Whatev
Is this supposed to be a mystery???
I think it's a Chibson and he's trying to be secretive. Doing a review/unboxing on a mystery guitar doesn't serve much purpose.

It is a chibson, but it’s built by firefly
Interesting. Looking forward to a sound sample.@@3vmusicstudios
It's a Benson!
..you think your going to get a Bigsby for less than $50. 👍😂
These things won't last, I bet the neck gets warped or twisted in no time.
