No thats incorrect, its to prevent the rear window from being blown out of its seal when you're driving at high speed with the windows open. The plexiglass is quite flexible and thin and with pressure on it it forms more into a "bubble" shape so to speak, making its outer circumference smaller and that in turn pulls it out of the edge of the seal around it enough for it to just fly out.

I've been watching RUclips for years and never subscribe to a channel until I saw this guys videos. I work for a few millionaires but this guy has given seems like a different species. Humble.
Bars on the rear window stop the window from coming out, poly carbonate will flex (even more so because of the size) and the vacuum created at the rear of the car + buffeting from haveing a door window open will force it out.

Exactly.. The same way a BMW 850i pillarless coupe, when you hit speeds in excess of 100mph the side windows automatically go up to prevent the rear glass from being blown out due to wind force. Well Spotted !!

The rails on the rear window is to secure the plexiglass during high speeds around a track because the body shifts. Not only do the metal straps secure the window from blowing out during high speeds, but it also acts as a "window roll bar". Shelby Mustangs did that during the Le Mans races in the late 60's but they did it more uniquely by adding a vent on top of the rear plexiglass window to allow air in the racing cabin and it exited the rear. But the metal straps held the window together. Very innovative engineering.

My friend has this bmw and I can say it’s the COOLEST car ever, the sunroof at night has little lights in it so the roof is glowing and the LEG ROOM is AMAZING and I can tell you if you like flashy and standing out we do get looks pretty often when we’re in the car!

3:38 The bars along the back plexiglass window/windscreen is to add to the _rigidity_ of that rather large piece of plexiglass. That plexiglass is thin so it flexes at higher speeds & could potentially blow out without those bars that add to the structural integrity preventing this from happening!🤯🤯

The dawn and the 760i have the same engine but due to the carbon core the bmw is lighter and such will do 0-60 in 3.7 as apples to the dawn doing it in 4.3 so yeah let’s just say the bmw is faster

The shit ones there is still 20k miles E66 760li from 2006-8 80k the used up ones with accidents of course they’ll hit between 35-50k
That car will feel the same as it does today and drive the same as it does today in 20 years. How much it's going to be worth on paper has nothing to do with the quality of it. Buy an old 7 series today and you still get a bargain and a car that shits on most new cars you get for the same money today.

They are cheap used, because keeping it on the road is still expensive as for 150k car (maintenance, insurance etc.)
The bar on the back window of the porsche's is for safety reason and since its made out of plexiglass its not as hard as normal car glass it could fall off/flexing on high speed because the outside air difference. Thats what i know about it (sorry for bad english)

The salesman was wrong, twin turbo and bi turbo both mean the same thing, 2 turbos. He was explaining Sequential Turbos where you have a small one that spools first and then a larger one for the top end

In order to turn on the backseat light, you must flip down the backseat middle console. The car comes with a tablet inside the console that allows you to control the lights and the light cover, as well as other features such as reclining chairs.

You're getting the wrong with these videos. It's about Happiness, confidence, and living in ratio.
He films these experiences so we can get an idea of how it works. He is inviting, kind, and down to earth. Not condescending at all towards the audience. Very warm yet ecstatic personality, it's refreshing to watch these videos on youtube. He isn't selling himself, or selling you a dream (like the Tai Lopez Vids 'Hey it's me in my garage, look at my lambos, books, knowledge, sign up, buy my courses, services)
In short, Michael is kind, has personality, and is confident with what he has. He has not always had these items but now that he can afford them, he does. He doesnt let society dictate what he wears, he wears what he likes and even his flashy items he buys because he likes and can afford them, not necessarily an in your face, show off (although he has an eye for things that stand out).

i am 99% sure that the straps on the porsche's rear window is to keep the window in if you drive with the door windos open. Plexiglas is "soft" and flexes a bit, but then "shatters" that is why it is tricky to fasten plexiglass with screws if the plexi will move, because it will shatter from the holes. (sorry for not perfect english, it is not my language :P )

Ashish Patel no, do not. The 7series is a much different car. Like michael said, he gets feedback through the steeringwheel. This is an M760, it actually remains a little bit sporty for a luxury car. A mix between a maybach and an s63 amg...
RR is based on a 7 series but the suspension and all the "luxury" components are completely different. Also 7 series is known to be the least comfortable luxury sedan compared to its competitors so it's really not a cheaper RR.

That rear glass thing: this glass is very flexible, if the window is opened while driving, incoming air may blow that rear window out. So they made these vertical reinforcements.

As a bottom 98%-er in the U.S., I really enjoy this fellow's videos. Especially the cars, and the home tours. He's completely unapologetic about his money. No pretense or false humility. I chose a 'safe' career path in the medical field, and so I will never see that kind of money in my bank account, but money is not a driving force in my life. I'd like to think that if I had that kind of coin I'd spend the majority of it in helping other people rather than on toys and shoes that will sit in a closet and never grace my feet. But the reality is I probably would. A Shelby. I'd really like a Shelby. And a cottage by the sea.

Purple Porsche. The brackets on the back window, are to hold the glass in during racing, as the glass is held in by a rubber gasket, which can come free in extreme driving, or worse case, a crash, and come free from the vehicle. In short, it adds to the safety and retention of the glass from popping out.

Yes that's correct, If you opened the front window over 70mph it would blow out the rubber seal...as plastic flexes unlike solid heavy glass.
The front window opening was originally used in trains ...The passenger's wold have a leather belt with holes in it ....and could lower the window to a setting they desired .

It’s there to be able to fix a wing for down force whilst racing.
The holes pre drilled in the strips are for whatever position you want the wing depending on how much down force you want.

The 2 struts on the Porsche rear window are to stop the plexi glass from flexing inwards. The plexi glass has no rigidity and would sag down without the struts.

Twin Turbo or Bi-turbo is term for engine with two turbochargers. In US they call twin turbo bit in EU they call those engines Bi-turbo because of different languages. It isn’t related with type of turbocharging, there are sequential turbos and parallel turbos...

the reason that older purple Porsche had plexiglass windows is for weight savings. since it is supposed to replicate an old race car, they install light weight glass. That is why the new Carrera t has plexiglass windows as well.

Yeah.. but Vegas is dry.. I've been out there in 115 degree whether, it's not that bad.. Try living in Miami where it's 95 and sunny year round plus 1,000% humidity all day every day.. Lol.
It is bad, when it's 117 out and the heat pulls every ounce of moisture from your body yea, the dry heat is worse, i just overcame a bout of heat stroke that really messed me up and on another note, i used to live in sarasota florida so i know all about the humidity, both suck but the dry heat is far more dangerous for you, ill take the humidity anyday !
