    great comparison! wondering if you cut out around the star before putting it on the grey if it would have worked without the faded colour.

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 года назад

      I'm sure that would have helped, but how could you cut it perfectly to where there would be no edges where the color fading would be present? Worth a try! But I think it may be easier to just stick to lighter colors.

      @@MakersGonnaLearn couldnt you just add a thick border as you would a sticker cut and run it through the cricket again for a perfect border cut?

    Add a glitter iron on first of the star then place infusable ink over the star. This works becasue glitter is polyester and then infusable ink will adhere to it just found out

    I wonder if you could just trim the transfer closer and use the heat tape to hold it in place? So you could get the star without the block around the star?

    Why not use a white HTV underneath the infusible ink on a black tshirt or glitter HTV

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 года назад +1

      You cannot use regular HTV under infusible ink, but you can if it's Glitter HTV: ruclips.net/video/NKb_UfS2WVM/видео.html

      There is no white ink. You can only use Infusible Ink on light colors :)

    Keep n mind ur color wheel if the shirt is colored. Infusible ink is exactly what it is infusible so in infuses with the color of the shirt . So orange shirt and yellow infusible ink makes green color print. I have tested it on orange shirt and yellow and mine came out green.

    I assume there isn’t a way to apply on a white shirt and then die it black. You would have to heat transfer black to the rest of the shirt which would get very expensive.

    How will it work on Cotten shirts?

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 года назад +1

      it doesn't. The color will wash right out. You must use 100% polyester

    ou please tell me where I can get the t-shirts used in this video? And, do you know if I can purchase them in Australia?

  • @adamlynn8648

    It seems that on the grey shirt the box around the star is the transfer paper so couldn't you cut the star out before you put the press on? then weed the backing off of the star after? so that way you can use white or grey with the infusable ink?

    Ok I'm not an idiot. Well....LOL - I went to put the Bell Icon in my Profile Pic on a Black Hoodie and nothing happened. I felt so defeated...Weeding out this logo was not an easy task. But I eventually went and bought Siser Brand HTV Iron on, using an iron and it turned out pretty great. Def want to get a heat press tho so I don't get any lose edges. Thanks for the great video!!!

      No, with the dark shirt it stayed there. I would say the white shirts do it too, but since it's white you can't see it.

    it just might have been a good idea to use a grey star to put onto the black t-shirt then it would have stood out above the other 2 that had been done
