I ran full water build in the first play through with dual sabres since they were easy to learn and sneak quick attacks, but after doing NG+, I’ve really loved Earth build. Quake Griffin hammer with full dread set, 99 earth, 40 metal and the rest in wood. Completely opposite paced fighting style versus water, but being tanky and landing hard hits felt so satisfying. Currently seeing if doing a full metal build would be fun. Working on upgrading Owl Cane with full Tianzhu set
Finished shadow of the erdtree 3 days ago and I'm gonna give this game another go, I've never finished it cuz that boss on the horse made me quit.... 😅

In the sequel perhaps. This game canonically covers Yellow Turban, Doug Zhuo's reign, and Yuan Shao's fall. Though...yeah, Zhang He would've technically be there...😮
I'd add that a full Earth build utilizing either a Polearm or Hammer and the spell Imposing Slab is also pretty powerful and fun. I switched to that at Lu Bu when I just couldn't get him down with my staff build. And...the only deaths I had after that point were from falling into water.

I have a couple of questions: 1) I just got to NG+ and started farming 5* gear, is there are reason why I should keep 4* gear and not just salvage it? 2) the gear you get from maximum oath, can i salvage it in NG+ since it's 4*, or are they usable on NG+? 3) lastly, I've been using the water build since I started playing a couple of days ago, but I'm confused on whice one is the best since you've showcased like 3 different types of water builds.
I have a big question. What are you doing with water build against water bosses? I started ng+ the water build performs great but against a water boss like Aoye I nearly deal no damage
I feel as though build making in this game is way more refined than Nioh and Nioh 2. Way more specific but give you way more synergy between the other elements.
love the wood lightning build. been & running a similar build with the jade staff but definitely want to upgrade to a 5* set. did you get the Prefect Xun set from farming monkey or is there a sub mission / 1v1 boss for it? cheers
These builds are really cool especially the fire one i want to try and make it myself but its kind of a lot to take in im still new i juice got this game and im not sure where to get any of what you're build has
Honestly, I'm hoping they add in some new awesome weapon skills to already existing weapon types alongside adding in a new weapon type, cause there's only so many weapons of specific types that have useful UNIQUE skills to them. Some are definitely cool, but don't work well in the combat speed of the game either due to the time investment of the attack, the spirit consumption, or both.
I feel like I should sub to you with the upcoming dlc o currently run the lighting build, though my armor is different I. Currently, use the TIANZHU HERMIT SET, though I have the set ur using in my warehouse perhaps I should try thar
where are you guys getting 5* entertainer pieces?? I've looked in 'fate of the entertainer' and hitting the monkey more than 1k times. ive never had this 5* drop. it hurts my soul bc I want this 5* set badly

I got the set bonus for that fire build on Chivalrous Swordsman Dual Swords. But it doesn’t show me any other equipment to activate the bonuses, ( like hat pieces or talisman) It is totally empty. Is it a bug?

This an old comment but I have some good news for you my English speaking friend. Wuhan is where the lab that Covid originated from is. It’s an extremely important historical city with the Jiangxia commandery largely covering modern day Wuhan. The Battle of Red Cliffs, Battle of Xiakou, and the Battle of Jangxia were all likely fought very close to modern Wuhan. However when talking about the Wuhuan instead of Wuhan, that is referring to a Proto-Mongolic people who inhabited northern China and lower Mongolia. It is said that the Xiongnu defeated the “Donghu” who then split into the northern Xianbei and southern Wuhuan much like the Xiongnu themselves after their great defeat around a century later. So no no covid but it probably doesn’t smell fantastic 😂

As much as im enjoying the game, its far too convoluted. Hundreds of weapons that you'll never use, far too many stats that are too off putting for newbies, amd these builds are all well and good, but you have to put in half your life to get anywhere.

4 star gear is fine as long as you can embed the stats you need onto it. All 3 water builds are good! Just depends on which playstyle you like!

Secondary skills don't count unless you switch over to that weapon though correct
The stats do not. However you can still unlock gear set bonuses 👍🏻

I only farm the monkey. Increase your luck and look for drop rate stats.

Random pieces roll with the grace set. You just need 6 items with the grace set attached.

according to nioh 2. once the new dlc came out this will be less powerful. so I would not waste too much time on the build til the new dlc.

5 piece grace gear will drop exactly never for me. Farming with all luck, dominator set, etc... Just crap gear. Uninstalled yesterday
