Yup, but unfortunately it needs to breathe while filling through that upper location and it spewed all over transmission without check plug removal and need to find final level anyways by removing check plug. So I just eliminated the mess and process of checking final level and filling on the vehicle I worked on. I appreciate the feedback 👍
I had to change my trans. All the leaked out the rear seal on to the exhaust pipe. None got onto the drive wayso I had no puddle but I could smell this this natural gas type smell. So I didn't know it was leaking until to late it cost $4000 to replace. I had extended warranty but they wouldn't cover it because they said I didn't check the fluid. They refused to understand that there was no way to check fluid level. there's no dipstick to check fluid level.
Transmission fluid is not like oil. You can’t swap 5 for 5. Fluid expands and fluid molecules break down over time. I used 12 quarts for the entire service. Drain and filled twice. Really depends on you. Always check final level at manufacturers specifications. I hope this helps 👍
Just measure the amount of fluid that drains out and put same amount back in. I filled from the top so I had to remove the air box to access the fill hole. Think mine took about 3.75 quarts.
I used a universal type fluid compatible to manufacture recommended specifications. I would ask parts and service to sale you recommended fluid. I hope this helps. I appreciate the feedback 👍
You are not worried about the ATF in the recesses of the tranny and the torq converter ?? You are only getting about 50% of the oil change this way. My view.
There are many was of servicing transmission fluid. Your point is valid. I’m not sure if there is a method of getting all the transmission fluid out without rebuilding the transmission. Flush machines. Drain and fills. Transmission fluid exchange machine. Many ways which is correct? Which one to use? I always leave it up to the owner of the vehicle. This is what they chose. I appreciate the feedback. Thank you 👍
you never get all the fluid out of any transmission , this is the reason you have to change it more often than recommended , if it was never changed drive a few thousand miles and change it again

My Mazda has a tranny dip stick can I fill it back up through there?
Whats is the box torx and allen you used and thx for the video.
I would suggest a torx and hex set. Not just one size sold. I hope this helps. I appreciate the feedback 👍 Thank you !
It’s a T55
How did you pump the fluid back in?
Vacuum pump. Dispenser and exchange.

I need to know the torx size for the drain plug, inner and outer
I would recommend a torx tool set. Has all the sizes needed for service and future servicing. I hope this helps. I appreciate the feedback 👍
How many litres of transmission fluid is sufficient?
I would refer to manufacturers specifications. Parts dealers are very helpful. Good luck 👍

Good advice 👍
So the hole in the top is in the same place as other models?
@@keptinkaos6384 can’t speak for other models. Mine is ‘13. To access fill hole on topside I had to remove air box. Hope this helps

Does this car have auto filter?
The vehicle I serviced did not.
How many litre (fluid) does it take ?
I used 7 quarts. Asking your local parts dealer is a good idea too. Models can differ.
@@HowIFixedIt thank you
@@HowIFixedIt all what i drain is 3 litres only

My 07 is different it has one drain plug
They change continuously. No vehicles are exactly the same. 👍
how can you balance the capacity of oil?
Balance the level? Fill plug is level. Fluid is level and full when it drips from fill plug area when plug is removed.
@@HowIFixedIt thanks
