excellent video-one thing to note if you have an electric mirror is to remove the wire guide ring before re inserting the new line or else you might drop it into the door like I did!
Good tips. Might also think about going to a junkyard if your car is older. Nothing makes an older car look more ghetto than a shiny new side mirror. One new thing with everything else sun faded. It's kinda like driving an old car with a shiny spare tiny donut tire look.
I rebuilt the gutts of my old 79 Firebird's driver's door and had to play with the mirror a bit. It was sagging and some of the screws were stripped and had to drill one out! Ended up having to replace the lower part of the mirror and use some salvage pieces to get it back together again. It was a fun project but now I'm waiting for my seats to get off the dock at Long Beach to drive it. Been waiting since July of last year. Btw....do you have any videos on how to adjust the side glass on those old cars? I would drive it to my local glass shop but I don't have any seats.

Thank you very much for this video. My side mirror broke and i was afraid of breaking the replacement during installement. This was very helpful.

I don't have anything on those, sorry! Thanks for watching!
Are you trying to fix a car?
I have a focus. The thing is the mirror is fixed. No pivot or articulation is why so many break. Fortunately they are cheap for about $50.00
