my 220+ started making fan noises on lower speed googled replacement fans and found reddit forum where people had problems with this noctua fan on 20% speed it stoped.

I found Noctua NF-A9 FLX fan stopped after running a while, maybe ten minutes or half an hour. I want to know if anyone else has encountered a similar situation.

Noctua fan noise is only really noticable in larger fans. These 90mm< fans are all pretty much the same db. To reduce noise you can watch temps and place a custom fan curve in the NAS settings to get to your required noise level

Alter, nie Kehrwoche gehabt? Der noctua ist lauter, hehehe. Such mal nach spin down und dann Lüfter auch aus. Muss ja nicht 24h rennen das Teil, oder?

True. You can hibernate or set shut down/ wake up schedule.
