I had a bad car accident many years ago. My four kids were with me and I was pinned behind the steering wheel with my left foot sticking out through the grill. I also had that feeling of extreme calm. It’s weird to be able to remain calm, talk to everyone around you and just have a sense of peace about it. I hope your surgeries and rehab are successful!

Poor kid, he’s suffering from some wicked PTSD. I hope they both heal soon.

You could tell his son Is very Uncomfortable he clearly is trying not cry the Child is traumatized by seeing his father in that situation.
