i went to OT as a child.
my literal childhood idol. ive been watching him since elementary school and ive wanted to meet him since. now im almost 20 and buddy got me into baking as a kid, his show always made me smile, and oh my god i just want to meet him so baddddd!!! its one of my life dreams to meet him

Buddy is a Cake Hero. He's gone through lots of challenges by the grace of God he pulls through. His family is amazing full of amazing love and togetherness. I do understand the part he said "he and his wife got much more closer while recovering", because me and my husband went through same when he had a compound fracture on his left arm in an accident. I have to be there every moment for his needs. Buddy you are a survivor just like I tell my Husband.

I'm glad he healed, but if you think he's the best a person can be at all odds, you didn't see his hissy fit when he lost in baking competition. Crying about losing because he didn't agree with the judges, and threatening to leave the show, saying it was fixed. Even his wife was ashamed of how he acted.

Love Cake Boss!!! I was lucky enough to visit Carlos's and it was amazing!!! The rainbow cake was unbelievable!!!! I got a hoodie on my visit there and I love how many people comment on it when I am out n about, they see Carlos's and they will immediately yell Cake Boss!!!

When I saw the blood spatter in his house during the 911 call video clip, it makes all the minor injuries I've had throughout my life that bled a lot look like paper cuts.
So glad to see his recovery!! There were vending machines downtown Toronto prior to the pandemic. I sure do miss them. I’m wondering if his online ordering is for Canada as well?
There is a cake boss vending machine at Toronto Premium Outlets. I read from somewhere that there is something like that in Square 1.

Karma catches up to you. This experience is a lesson to all. He treats all his vendors horribly, doesn't pay his bills and uses the excuse "do you know who I am". Everyone has to pay their bills and employees.

Why is it that I have a feeling that his injury was.... You know.. Through unavoidable situations
Because he stuck his hand in a moving mixer,the first thing you should learn not to do as a baker. Makes me wonder how many of his employees he taught to reach in to feel if the mix is ready, before turning it off, to save a few seconds.

Does that mean that for huge cities that probably have a girls kitchen if we order a cake can we customize it for example I am lactose intolerant so could they make a cake that doesn’t have butter with milk in it and use the substitute the same with milk because I know for a fact I can make buttercream frosting Everybody loves without butter or milk and I was doing that for the past 20 years before I became dairy free not by choice?

We have enough of buddy on TLC, he has been on TLC for years, or most proberbly the longest than any other personality, they could change TLC channel to the buddy show
Real bad way of starting out a news article without telling us who he is and what happened to his hand or anything to introduce it. The Male host just said, "I reached out my hand since it happened". Since what happened?! Apparently by reading the reviews here he is a TV personality that bakes cakes? Not everybody has cable! It would've been nice to have an introduction to this man and what happened to him.
He's a professional baker, who crushed his hand in a mixer at home, while it was still running. He used to have a baking show, but it was losing popularity. Lost even more popularity when he competed against another show, and threatened to quit, in a way overly dramatic style, because he didn't like the judges decision. Thankfully he's made a full recovery from his injuries, hopefully he learned something from it.

@@Livetoeat171 apparently this was wrong info that I had got when it first happened. The story is that it was a pin-splitter on his personal bowling lane, he stuck his hand in because it wasn't working. At that point a pin in the machine stabbed his hand three times, and his hand got stuck.
