i thought merino was good yesterday. I can see him being a midfielder that can score chances from headers similar to xhaka in his last season. however we need a winger and hopefully a striker. i would say Kudus because he can play anywhere in the attack.
@@tashd.a4190Turkish is sadly often wrong because he seeks negatives. No team won more points or scored more goals in the PL in 2024 but the way he talks scoring has been our biggest problem. If you out score Liverpool & City in a 12 month period that can’t possibly be true.
Rewatch the match - They had a shot right at the end which hit an Arsenal players hand and luckily fell to MLS I think. It could have fell to an Ipswich player.
Honestly, I’m a bit over the criticism from Turkish -we managed the game well, and there’s nothing wrong with a 1-0 win. That’s our seventh clean sheet this season, which is seriously impressive. Great to see Havertz on the scoresheet again; the guy was everywhere today. Odegaard was poor again, apart from 10 minute period, but Timber and MLS really showed some great moments hard to drop moving forward. That said, I think we need to invest in another winger or two-I’m not entirely sold on a striker in Arteta’s system. I’d go all out for a Premier League-proven player like Cunha, Mbeumo, Semenyo, or even Gordon.
Agreed bro. I do not like the negativity and disrespect of other teams. Yes it was Ipswich Town but they are in the Prem for a reason. No team is going to let us smash them 5-0 every game lool. Plus, we need to earn the right to win games and the league without the arrogance.
@@kevind6956 Bro, you were taking the ball to the corner flag against Ipswich last 5 minutes. 🥴 I'm more worried about City and they may come back second half of the season. Forest more of a threat as well.
Possibly one of the worst premier league seasons ever. Arsenal playing like stoke and there second, Chelsea drop point against mid table sides and are some how still 3rd. Man utd, west ham and spurs all in the bottom half. Man city losing almost every week and are some how 7th yet are in relegation form. Liverpool will walk this league tbh
Liverpool drew with Fulham and New Castle. Liverpool have to go to west ham and forest in the next few weeks. The game away to Everton which was postponed is also not an easy one
I think Arsenal’s game against Ipswich went well overall, despite it ending with only one goal scored by Arsenal. Some supporters need to understand that playing against any team in the EPL-whether they’re newly promoted or have been in the league for years-is never an easy task. At times, expectations from fans can be unrealistic, especially when they believe Arsenal should easily dominate and score multiple goals against a team they consider weaker. It's important to remember that playing football and scoring goals isn’t as simple as some might make it sound. Arteta’s style of play is methodical and deliberate, which often makes it challenging for opponents but can also create tighter matches. Teams like Ipswich, Fulham, and Everton put in significant preparation against top-five sides, aiming to either draw or frustrate their opponents with strong defensive setups. The key takeaway here is to never underestimate any EPL opponent. Every club in this league has the potential to cause an upset, regardless of how strong your squad or strikers are. Arsenal supporters should brace themselves for more challenging matches ahead. Good luck to Arsenal in their next game!
It was reported this week we don't want Gyokeres and our first target is Cunha which i think is a huge mistake as hes having 1 good season vs Gyokeres, Osimhen and Isak 3 good seasons. Arsenal need to get isak its like Rice singing so obvious just pay the £100m's but we will want a cheap alternative like 99% of our transfers ffs
We need to learn that slow, laborious, lethargic passing will not break down a team that is playing a low block and have no intention of playing in any other way. Ipswich made it clear from the start that they were set up to sit in and defend. We should be zipping passes about and multiple players should be making runs providing options for attacking situations. We were far too slow and static up front. We are desperate for a player with trickery, speed and agility to assist with breaking these teams..
Maybe that’s why it’s been 20 years since arsenal were last one of the best team in the world… since then we’ve had fluke FA cups and mediocrity that people like you celebrate
We talk about getting a striker on the January transfer window. This game is also showing that arsenal is desperately in need of a right winger to replace the injured Saka.

Biggest problem is we need a number 9 like a Gyokeres, Vlahovic or even Osimhen. And a winger who can play both sides like Kudus. Martinelli is playing with the handbrakes on
We find it difficult to break teams like that because Arsenal aside Odegard , need a ball carrier like a Jamal musiala profile who can receive the ball and turn and do something different.... you can see that in the second half when odegard started carrying the ball, things changed and attempts started coming in

People like Turkish are the reason why the Kroenkoes and Arteta do not listen to the fanbase because they don't what they're talking about.
Foolish? We are too easy to stifle and set up against because we dont have many attackers with a fear factor. You add one in, some attention gets taken away from others. Using Haaland now when he’s hit his first patch of poor form in his career is so disingenuous considering he’s helped them to a treble and couple titles since arriving whilst breaking the PL record.
You can disagree with someone without needing to call them foolish. We do need a striker for that presence in the box and constant threat. They both go hand in hand, we need to improve our wingers, but also need another striker. Liverpool have Salah but still bought Jota, Gakpo, and Diaz. We need more of everything. Chelsea have Jackson, Felix, Nkunku, Palmer, Madueke and Neto yet are still in the market for another striker. Haaland would be good in our team, there's clearly other issues that city are going through. We should be looking at getting someone like Olmo in addition to a striker but that doesn't mean we don't need a striker.

Point is how did we achieve that if our attackers are rubbish like you said. How are we as terrible as you painted yet we have had these good runs. Obviously we need to put these runs together in a league season to win the league but still we can’t be that rubbish and score 89 league goals in 2024. Guess my point is you are exaggerating way too much and purposely pessimistic on your analysis. My point is, our attack is not rubbish if in our past 11 games we have 9 wins 2 draws zero losses. I would love to see Liverpool attack without salah or City without Haaland goals. So u can’t just say without Saka bc that is a big without.
We had a decent December and we’ve hung in there… now to up the gear in January and see how things look at the end on Jan and hope Liverpool stumble… at the end of January we’ll get a proper sense of whether we’ll take home silverware this season.
Good to see our defence has settled back into their usual selves. We were conceding stupidly at the start of the season. Those issues are fixed. We got the attack flowing then saka got injured and now we have to find other solutions. Martinelli isnt it

I dont think being clinical is the issue. Lack of creativity and fluidity is the big issue. I’d prefer a fantastic 1 v 1 winger to spice and create more chaos up front
18 Games played, 6 D & 2 L, 16 goals conceded (best in league), 35 goals scored (4th best in league), we are not closer to liverpool at 1st because we cant turn draw into win, we lost only 2 games all season and 1 of them is 10 vs 11 (bournemouth) that is still the 2nd best in league, we are still the best defensive team in league but our attack is in dire need of a reinforcement, 6 draw, if we just won against fulham, everton that should be extra 4 points at least, also brighton and city (i know it was a red) but if we just more clinical and were 2 goals up instead of 1 goal we should have won that game... Some of these guys are so deluded. A striker isn't going to solve anything. We need both a Killer LW or a creative LCM. We won't get them together in Jan and even one is a stretch.
we have enough mids, enough short not a no. 9's, Jesus is 1 blade of grass away from missing ..
knock on wood, wouldn't score against City, Real Madrid, Bayern, any top EPL side now. we're also down Eddie, so on those 1.5 alone.
.we should be getting a 6ft striker in Jan period, with Havertz as the Duct tape.
Turkish just waffles and shows he doesn’t watch ball. How’s he watched a game where we struggled to create chances and demand two strikers thrive off service?! 🤣🤣
i thought merino was good yesterday.
1:05 Ipswich had moments no Turkish they didn't
Rewatch the match - They had a shot right at the end which hit an Arsenal players hand and luckily fell to MLS I think. It could have fell to an Ipswich player.
The first minute of the game? The Raya mis-pass early in the second half?
Mbeumo or Cuhna would be nice

Arsenal are bottle 🍼 jobs
Not happening.
Odegaard was absolutely horrible today. The guy looks like he's got cancer he's so skinny and fragile recently. I'm wondering if he's gone vegan
Agreed bro. I do not like the negativity and disrespect of other teams. Yes it was Ipswich Town but they are in the Prem for a reason. No team is going to let us smash them 5-0 every game lool. Plus, we need to earn the right to win games and the league without the arrogance.

Hate to admit it but you are right.

It happens. 1996/97, 2010/11, 2015/16, 2020/21.....Record books won't care, though.
Yes, Stoke were a control possession team, yes thats how Stoke playef
The way Liverpool are playing, they’re top no matter what
Liverpool drew with Fulham and New Castle. Liverpool have to go to west ham and forest in the next few weeks. The game away to Everton which was postponed is also not an easy one
@donovanjohnson4279 Everton, WestHam & forest is what you're pinning your hopes on?? Smh
Bro we looked very slow in our attack in this game. We seemed to be scared to make a mistake so we would make way too many safe passes
Looked brighter in second half.
Deliberate? Like deliberately playing crap? 😂
@@Tamarlane389 Stick to your team mate. If you think Arsenal are crap you need another sport.
@ Liverpool do look like are playing another sport to arsenal: football.

Factos,he's spitting facts, it was a huge disappointment not signing an elite forward last summer
Turkish is an older Arsenal fan but also seems new to arsenal. Arsenal dont do business in January lol
Maybe that’s why it’s been 20 years since arsenal were last one of the best team in the world… since then we’ve had fluke FA cups and mediocrity that people like you celebrate
This narrative needs to stop. We signed Trossard, Kiwior, Aubameyang, etc in January. Just sign a forward.
Gyokores is a must
He won’t wanna come there
Kolo Muani

We talk about getting a striker on the January transfer window. This game is also showing that arsenal is desperately in need of a right winger to replace the injured Saka.

@tony, hit the nail on the head!

and then when when we don't win the league again - what will you say?
And Especially getting a player in the middle off the season who is Cup Tied in Europe.
Did u actually listen to anything he said? Cause the only one acting like a emotional child is you. 😂
Bring victor osmen so far we don't have fabregas or Patrick viera in the midfield to put those through passes Everyone want to score other teams play for their number 9
Biggest problem is we need a number 9 like a Gyokeres, Vlahovic or even Osimhen. And a winger who can play both sides like Kudus. Martinelli is playing with the handbrakes on
Turkish is so good mehn!!!❤
We find it difficult to break teams like that because Arsenal aside Odegard , need a ball carrier like a Jamal musiala profile who can receive the ball and turn and do something different....
you can see that in the second half when odegard started carrying the ball, things changed and attempts started coming in
let MLS cook! love seeing him cook three defenders on the turn in the middle of the field and refusing to fall down when fouled - stays on his feet. he's real.

What's the name of the amapiano beat?
We are slow and very careful taking risks. Trossad tried to make runs but no one tried to pass the ball to him because we are slow except 18 year old kid tried few times. We need to be quick and run behind the defenders
Gyokyres doesnt suit the way arsenal play isak is the guy arsenal should be breaking the bank for. Along with kudus and another left winger
Isak is not leaving a team on the up for a team like arsenal hence why he’s rejected arsenal publicly twice
What way do we play mate ?
Liverpool never had a Problem incorporating 3-4 6ft+ dynamic striker types, Sobozlai, Gakpo, ( ok Salah & that guy from Wolves both world class 5ft something's... but that class superspeeds height)
@@RUNBOXTyour comment made no sense mate, if you seriously think arsenal couldn't sign a player from newcastle you are deluded. @@RUNBOXTtf are you talking about 😂, he’s never done what you said , and we’ve never tried to get him 😂.
100% Agree with Turkish. Poor mentality against a promoted side having to close games out at the corner flag and taking a sigh of relief at the final whistle.
Am not sure we watched the same match ..martinelli offers nothing as a winger ..watch proper wingers in gakpo, leao, vinicius, lookman,
Buying the right players is key for the team.
I would expect arsenal scouting team to find one for jan similar to how we signed trossard before. Most likely a trossard type signing we get. not sure of a striker yet
Arsenal fans need to know by now. The more you demand for the obvious thing, the more Arteta wants to be everyone wrong by doing the opposite. You should all demand a keeper, and watch him get a striker. Mind games
Viktor is a ball in behind kind of striker, Isak is the guy, he is both quick feet or ball in behind guy
Release clause means you pay the fee in full. That's unrealistic. Plus I don't think a striker will make a difference if there are no chances created for him.
They need Isak. He’s proven. They also need a Kudus or a Wirtz. Not enough creativity- chance creation is either Saka or bust
I CAN BET ON ANYTHING THAT ARTETA WOULD RATHER LOSE HIS JOB THAN BUY A GOOD STRIKER COME JANUARY. PROVING HE WAS RIGHT SIGNING HAVERTZ IS ALL THAT MATTERS TO ARTETA ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

What's funny
Real talk Turkish
Bro wtf will Gyokores do if he does not get the ball, Turkish is foolish look at Haaland struggling to score because he does not get the ball ffs, our main issue is wingers and creative players not a striker, we need a Cuhna or something like that not going for $120 million Gyokores who will not guarantee us goals if he does not get the crosses or Odegaard's breakthrough passes.
@@snowking3242 This is the problem with this fanbase we think we can pick and choose we forget that players nowadays cost a lot if the Kroenkoes give Arteta 100 million this Jan tell me how can we afford a striker and other players without going bankrupt Liverpool and Chelsea invested in these players like 5 years ago and for Arsenal it will take years money doesn't grow from the trees and that is why my argument is at the moment there is not need for a striker we need attacking players you mentioned Gakpo, Diaz, Salah those players are versatile we need that at the moment we need options we need squad depth not one player who will cost a lot of money and it will be effectively useless if Saka, Odegaard get injured, in the summer we can go for a striker but Jan window we don't need a striker it's simple we need deep squad depth. Turkish's argument is foolish in my opinion not him as a person of course its wrong and I realize that. Do you realize if we lose Trossard or Martinelli our season is done because we have no wingers our bench is only Midfielders and Defenders.
Mate you can’t have a world class CAM in odeegard and have players like Havertz and Jesus in front of him, these days of having mediocre strikers need to stop, we’ve been doing this since Ozil and welbeck days😂. It’s called having a fear factor up front.
This guy changes his view every few weeks.
4:17 real talk, that’s why I don’t want to hear any excuses on not signing an attacker in Jan.
This problem might be even bigger than a striker, we can't get the ball in the opposition box, how will a striker score with no movement in the box...
Turkish is only fan I can relate to . And only reason I’m still watching aftv
Says a lot about you
Too much sideways movement we are not direct enough
I'd rather get Cunha. He's on fire this season, has great pace and can play left or up front. Probably cheaper as well.
Our attacking is so rubbish even brentford have a better attacking martinalli trossard was frustrating today
Yet we are 2nd have scored 35 goals. How do u score 35 and have such a good GD if you are rubbish.
@theach84 Im not sure you are watching the arsnnaa games we cannot break down fullham and Everton even Ipswich whith our rubbish attackers. Whithout saka in the front line we are nothing saka does everything but martinalli does nothing
@TysonTerry-l6n obviously we need to put these runs together and win a league but there are stats out there that say in 2024 we have scored the most, the most points the least conceded but especially that we have the most points 85 most goals 89….
Victor oscimhem all day there is no losing ball for that guy he runs and chase every cross or ball and he's a power house in the air in both box
We had a decent December and we’ve hung in there… now to up the gear in January and see how things look at the end on Jan and hope Liverpool stumble… at the end of January we’ll get a proper sense of whether we’ll take home silverware this season.
Turkish, Potts and Curtis are the realist ones and won't tolerate mediocrity at our club.
I didn't understand Kai position at some point he was in the midfield with Rice and got confused going for the ball...
Victor and lookman will win us the league, Arteta needs to do it now.
Turkish is my favorite analyst. Always honest and appropriately critical. He knows football.
He is a boring dinosaur 😂
WE NEED A 5, A creative midfielder, the closest to that we have is Partey
Good to see our defence has settled back into their usual selves. We were conceding stupidly at the start of the season. Those issues are fixed. We got the attack flowing then saka got injured and now we have to find other solutions. Martinelli isnt it
We need to backup our wings...and the most important thing is the striker... last night game we struggled a lot....
I'm a bit concerned Arteta only wants to strengthen in full back right back left back even CB only ..how many times he wants to do that..pls la he should be priorities to strengthen attackers not defenders...we need another 2 wide players and Striker...
Best owners because he's paid well. Arteta is the B tech Wenger. As long as him and owners are making money.
We were not holding on, Ipswich was never going to score in that game.
@turkishLND how are we going to get him in January? We more likely to get Rashford on loan with the option to buy.
Please sign a quality attacker to boost our offense!
I love Martinelli and wanted him to do really well on the right but after seeing him cower to the corner I completely lost it😡 then reality hit me😭! We need to refresh the attack in January otherwise we ain't winning anything this season 🙏🏽
