But Chimchar can evolve. Meaning Monferno could be as strong as Dialga/Palkia. ALSO meaning that Infernape could be a god on par with Arceus. Also ALSO meaning that Infernape is the best starter

I was in a philosophy class, and for the final essay test, there just was one question: "Why?" I wrote for more than two hours, like almost everyone else, taking up the whole time writing about how philospohers have asked that question for millenia, drawing on the question's history. One of my classes wrote "why not?" and turned that in 2 seconds into the test. He aced it. Just kidding, he failed. Obviously.
This had more varied jokes and more creative script than I honestly expected, alongside still being a solid competitive history overview. Definitely one of my favorite April Fools videos for this year.
This might just be the funniest "how GOOD was * ACTUALLY" yet I mean, dunsparce's april's fool was a short joke, and delibird and ledian got old fast. Luvdisc was funny enough, but Wynaut has 2 clear advantages: 1) a weird-ass tiering history just like quagsire (the other contender to funniest video) and wobuffet (seriously, what is it with GF and light blue blobs?!), and 2) an easily pun-able name Seriously guys, good laughs are highly appreciated in these troubled times

Wynaut was my academic advisor at Northwestern. He was an asshole. Whenever I'd ask if I should include a particular topic in my thesis, he'd just say "why not". When I asked if I should get my Masters degree, he said the same thing. I can respect someone who knows the value in a soft touch, but I really didn't get the support I needed from Wynaut. 2/5 stars.

Wynaut is actually underrated it's a fast psychical sweeper with a plethora of moves at it's disposal it's a glass Canon however and can't take hits well I'd recommend using a jolly nature one.
I really have to say, the extended bit really does make your format more amusing. this might be worth doing outside of april fools. adds to the story, you know?

I'm sure it's been pointed out by now. But in gen 8 wynaut is used with focus sash to counter heavy hitters or heavily boosted pokemon. Mons that set up for power trip or stored power, for example, can only play right into it's hands. Or for a better example, Crowned Zacian will finish it in one hit, but with focus sash wynaut can retaliate and remove Zacian from the game. Make sure you take time to set those stealth rocks, guys.
I've genuinely been wanting LC for a long time and have been asking for it for months now... how about a mon like Abra, Gastly, Onix, or Munchlax? LC is such an interesting tier with different mechanics and strategies
"Shadow Tag was allowed, and then Gothitelle ruined it for everyone else and got it banned" This is a super disappointing part of the ruleset design tbh. Ability gets banned = removes sole point of viability for some mons. Pokemon gets banned for 1 of it's 2 abilities = The lesser ability combo still exists but the whole mon is still banned. Unfortunate.
