Let’s face it: Lava Plume (and I guess Eruption) is Camerupt’s Signature Move. Its design screams Lava Plume. Combining a Camel with a Volcano for its humps was such a creative design choice. Camerupt is such an underrated Pokémon, especially since Groudon went Primal and copied the Cool Kid’s Unique Typing. PS: I’d like to point out that Camerupt’s video is longer than Mewtwo and The Weather Trio. Let that sink in
Probably because most people play pokemon on switch mode, which is really boring because it gives you a huge advantage when you can just switch in a pokemon that easily beats the other for free. @@OrangeyChocolate Agree. Set mode is pretty much the *only* way to play. Switch is straight up cheating imo. Being able to not only freely switch but also see what Pokemon the opponent will use is just too much.

Camerupt: my job is to blow up, like I don’t know nothing
swampert: exists
camerupt: if im going to hell, im taking you with me
I’m shocked that camerupt was so useful in gen 3! Even as an uncompetitive kid, my first impressions was “slow and dies to surf and EQ”
6:41
"You're weak, frail, and slow. Your competitors outmatch you. Why should I choose you over them?"
Camerupt: *SKIBIDIBOP MMMDADA*
"No unfortunately here".
This is outrageous, its unfair, how can you start a false swipe gaming video and not say "unfortunately"?
Take a seat young Skywalker
Seeing this Makes me remember how good my Shiny Camerupt was in Pokémon Emerald
Ayee I wouldn’t say not to do it
If you didn’t pick Torchic it not a bad choice
make a vid about the history of normal type moves (or a different type of moves) and how chances of moves or new moves influenced competitve pokemon. like how follow me chanced vgc and how body slam wasn’t that good anymore after gen 1 and a lot of pokemon swapped body slam out for return. that would be very interesting.
It was fun while it lasted with Camerupt erupting in popularity.
I'm sure it'll have its moment again soon, where it can have a hot streak once again.
An actual decent Pokémon this time. Though it was really only good with its Mega on hard TR teams. I also love how you told the story of Mike’s Costa Mesa Regionals run lol
If Camerupt does return to Gen 8, it most likely be put in the lower-tiers, but it could have a niesh in OU. As for if it get used in Gen 8 VGC, it would most likely be used as a Dinamax on Trick Room teams with the ability Solid Rock holding a Weakness Policy and would mainly spam Max Quake.

And I agree
I would boost Camerupt and Sharpedo Attack and Special Attack by 10 points. I will increase Sharpedo's Speed by 10 and Camerupt's Hp by 10
Swampert: switches in Camerupt: “Call an ambulance!” *uses explosion* Camerupt: “but not for me”
For this case you call an ambulance for the both of you
Sweet, 2 vids in a single day, one on status and the regular "HGW?A".
Holy cow your channel really blew up ! I remember when you would only get 10k views

Well camerupt caused an explosion in the competitive scene!
Camerupt: *sees bulky Water Type enter the field*
Also Camerupt: Do you want to explode?
"No unfortunately here!"
FINALLY
one of the few pokemon that was entirely viable in tiers above it's own, and not even in gimmicky nieches, and it's even one of my favs? amazing.
5:00 ah yes. Crippled by Toxicroak. My favorite gen 3 mon
YESSS I’ve been waiting so long for this one!
I remember Camerupt screwing up Chuggaaconroy.
Chuggaaconroy: "Hopefully Camerupt will do something stupid."
Camerupt: "Wish granted."
@@marioponce8482 Camerupt: *Use Earthquake so Quasire will KO Enti with Surf* (I'm pretty sure I spelled both wrong)
Chuggaaconroy: Oh no... Oh no! OH NO! CAMERUPT, NOOOOOOOO! Are you serious?! CAMERUPT, YOU IDIOT!
@@stygiandragon3865 you spelled both wrong, they're spelled like Quagsire and Entei.
@@ShadowtheRUclipsr523 yea I knew it. Thx for correcting!

Bulky Water Types: It's over, Camerupt
Camerupt: I'mma boutta do what Captain Atom does in every damn Crisis event
Ever forget that camels exist sometimes? I feel the same way with narwhals.
Bulky Waters: I fear no mon. But that thing... (Camerupt with Explosion) It scares me.
I remember playing Poképark and going to him to make tops
I hope we get more special based ground types in Crown Tundra... Camerupt and Palossand are the only non-legendary special based ground types atm
