This guy had the most perfect idea, the new terminal a stays the same, the old terminal a replaces as terminal b, terminal b gets renamed to terminal c, and terminal c gets renamed to terminal d.
So you have to exit security and go through security again if you have a connection ie. flew in to Terminal C and have to go to Terminal A? I don't fly frequently just don't want to get stuck, have a 40 min layover which should be enough to figure everything out unless they switch gates half way through
There's a bus that takes you between the terminals on the secure-side I think. As the other commentator pointed out, 40 minutes probably isn't enough time to get to your gate from Terminal C to Terminal A.
This is by far the best video on how to move between terminals I didn't even know I have to take a skytrain.
Thank you

At Newark airport there is no Terminal D.
It’s only terminal’s A B and C
If you arrive into EWR on a domestic flight then you can take the shuttle bus to the terminal for your connecting flight
Thanks for sharing ...

45 min is not enough especially if you're not familiar with the airport 😒
