- Angela Rayner faced backlash last night for shelving her intentions to give preference to long-term British residents for limited council homes.
The Labour Housing Secretary has stealthily abandoned the Conservative idea to implement a 'UK connection test' in applications for social housing.
Her department has made it clear that it will not proceed with the change, which would have restricted access to the 1.3 million-member waiting list to only those residing in the UK for a minimum of ten years.
Talk’s Jeremy Kyle is joined by Reform UK member Ben Habib, who says “the fundamental protest being made” across the country is that immigrants are “taking our jobs, taking our social housing and getting benefits ahead of British people”.

Me and my wife are both 43 years old, we have bot worked and paid taxes all our lives, never once claimed benefits. My wife is a teacher for Birmingham city council and I work for a military contractor, we can't afford a mortgage, because of the price of private rental we can't save any money, we have been on multiple council and housing association waiting lists for 15 years now and they keep telling us we are not priority. We have children and are living in a condemned private rental which is falling apart every day, and all around us we see immigrants moving in nice council homes while being able to afford Audi's, BMW'S, Mercedes and believe it or not, the group of Pakistani men that were moved into a four bed hose right across the street from me are driving a Rolls Royce £450.0000, but they need a council house more than me and my wife!

I am a self employed childminder i worked all through COVID risking mine and my family's health and when I had to shut for three weeks as my family caught COVID so I wasn't allowed to open or charge parents I asked the government for financial help and was told no, absolutely disgusting the way working class people who have always paid taxes are not able to get the help they need when they need. But others who have never contributed get everything

It's absolutely disgraceful!! Our son, his wife and 2 grandchildren had to move back in with us a year and a half ago because the upstairs flat without a garden that they were renting became un affordable. The landlady kept putting up the rent until they were getting in debt and that was the cheapest property about. They both work! Around a month later our youngest daughter had to move in with us too. The council won't help at all. Youngest daughter wants her own space but can't afford private rent even though she goes out at 6 in a morning to work and doesn't get home until 6.30/7pm because of travelling miles to be in work! She's just taken out a loan and bought a camper van to live in. It's so unfair when our children work hard and long hours on minimum wage that illegals are coming here and being put before our own!!

The sheeple will realise the two main parties are as one, and Reform is the only alternative. Its going to be bleak until Labour are kicked out, but it will happen and just hope the Sheeple see sense.
