Now imagine if Ubisoft had put as much love and effort into making Star Wars: Outlaws as you guys did with this amazing puppet. Amazing video, and an amazing creation!
The feet/paws sculpt looks amazing. Handwork takes time but more and more I think it is important we continue to do this type of work. I actually predict that things that are obviously handmade will be more valuable in future because AI systems and robotics will, within 10 years, be able to make anything. I carve violins where differences of a tenth of a mm in thickness can make a big difference. I now know that CNC tech can make a perfect reproduction of a Stradivarius violin from CAT scans but these will be missing a key ingredient which is intuitive knowledge of how wood grain and density varies across a billet of wood and this must be accounted for through experience carving. I hope you keep making things by hand and showing the process because these skills will be lost otherwise. I like also how you share your challenges in the creation process.

This is insane! Out of the (surprisingly many) hand puppet projects I have seen recently, this is by far the most thought out, detailed and functional one. I mean, functional eyelids covered with silicone??? Well done!
The result is amazing. Would be great to have that kind of companion IRL ^^ What do you do with the molds, the clay, the silicone etc... when you're done ? Can you recycle, or is it thrown away ? If so, that's a lot of materials (and money) in the trash.
