- I finally got a McLaren in Assoluto Racing! Not the one I ultimately want, but one that is so heavily sought after and appreciated by more than 20 times its MSRP IRL that I enjoyed driving it! It also has no driver aids, so it was a challenge to drive, although not as difficult as the 1987 RUF CTR “Yellowbird”.

Do you prefer the McLaren F1 or McLaren P1™? Why?
Congratulations on the new car)
Thanks! I wanted the P1, but at least I got a McLaren that costs millions IRL!
Are you using your hands for the controls here or do you have a controller connected? I'm impressed that you use clutch and gear change manually while still having to quickly apply gas etc.
I’m using touch controls here, just clawing on the pedals and upshifting/downshifting using my thumbs and index fingers for these controls.
Funny enough, I wanted the F1 but got every other import car instead 🗿
You got the other import cars, including the P1? Guess we wanted the other McLarens than what we got! 😅
@@mcvin-iosracing That's right, if only there was in-game trading...
@@NotAngelo2105 Cool system, if I’m being honest. Not sure how that is supposed to work, but it would seem way better than having to sell duplicate import cars; you could just be generous to give them to those who want the cars, hopefully in exchange for a car of similar value!
@@mcvin-iosracing Anything would be better than the actual import system, just because of the fact that you can only win gold with the daily rewards and being a good player worldwide.
Once you get all the rewards from the single player events, you don't really have any other way to grind gold.
today you can tune this car🎉
Plus, it has the potential of reaching 240 mph with increased engine acceleration and Center of Mass, making it more challenging to drive. Default tire configuration is sports like I switched to (the devs must have heard me complain about the slicks on a road car 😅). But its 0-60 mph is much worse now. It does it in over 4 seconds instead of the 3.2 it should be doing. Darn traction!
You don't want traction control on anyway, you will limit your acceleration significantly and the acceleration on the McLaren F1 is actually crap anyway. Most of the top cars in Assoluto will smoke an F1.
I never use traction control for any car in this game (who races with that?!), but I toggle ABS depending on the car because I really want to experience the particular car. If the car has ABS, I leave it on, and if it doesn’t, like this car or the infamous TVR Sagaris, I turn it off for those cars only.
And yeah, the McLaren F1 has terrible acceleration even compared to real life! I tested it to 60 mph and it reached it in 3.8s when its real life counterpart got 3.2s. Devs really need to rework on the acceleration of most cars, especially some of these RWD cars.
