- Two Aventura police officers surprised dozens of shoppers by pretending to break up a group of dancers performing in the middle of Aventura Mall, but instead joined them by showing off their moves. Based out of West Palm Beach, choreographer Sean Green of Sean's Dance Factory, organized the surprise for mall goers, who cheered the officers and dancers on.

I really like these comments because normally videos like these are filled with people saying: "see? Cops aren't bad at all. This is what the news doesn't show." And that just feels like they're denying the fact that cops can be both fun-loving and racist/authoritative, and a little skit doesn't just right all of the wrongs done by the police force - especially since the whole point of these skits is to boost public opinion of police officers.
Essentially, it's really fun propaganda. Propaganda isn't always bad, though. If the cops take real steps to connect with the community and they actually treat citizens humanely in their jurisdiction, then I say let them dance lol

No, all cops aren’t corrupt bullies. However, those who aren’t have an obligation to get rid of those who are. Instead, what we get are police unions run, by and large, by bullies that protect murderous bullies. The police unions must be held accountable. It makes no sense that murderous bullies are suspended with pay when they are caught red handed. That’s , essentially, a publicly funded vacation. And it’s the unions that have pushed for this treatment. They can do better and, since they are publicly funded servants, we should expect them to do better.

When I was in law enforcement, I pulled over a guy driving a little too fast, but the main reason I pulled him over was because he was driving a brand new Ferrari. It was Roddy White from the Falcons, I didnt give him a ticket either.

I am a police officer and I once saw an 80 year old lady crying with longing for her late husband. She told me that they danced tango. I gave her a big hug and danced a little with her, Carlos Gardel's song, For "Una Cabeza". She was very happy and I was also surprised to see that she no longer cried.
