Even if they don't have kids they have loved ones like parents, significant others, spouses (but no kids), siblings, extended family, church community, close friends, neighbors that all have anxiety over their safety on the job because all kinds of unfortunate things could happen to them even if they do everything right.

It is really sad, I love to see our offices let loose like this.I had a brother who recent died but served his country going into service out of high school then years later to become a office of the law. The police should be everybody's friend. This is so lovely and it concerns me greatly, that the actions of a few can so tarnish the reputation of the many fine officers who work so hard to protect and develop trust amongst the populace. I want to see more of the good they do, because I already know about the bad ones and I prefer a balanced view!
