The song is for/about his wife who died from cancer. She died on 5th november, his brother on first november of the same year!

He can sing in English, but everything poetic and beautiful and cool is missing when he does. His songs in his native language are amongst the best from Europe.

Normally I don't listen to german singers, I am German, but Herbert Grönemeyer is for me the best songwriter and singer in Germany who touched my heart and soul. He is absolutely amazing. Please, try more songs of him. 👍By the way your reaction was great, love it 😍
