I lived in Houston for 7 years and I swear, I went through Harvey and about 4 other "once in a ______ year floods." Once in 100yrs, once in 300, once in 500, once in 1000yrs. Every August I would start to be on edge. When they would say on the news that it could flood I'd start thinking of plans to skip town for a few days or stock up (usually meant long lines at stores). I'm honestly traumatized by it and can't imagining not paying attention to weather warnings.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD:
If You Have Been Suffering from Any Kind of Disaster, Ever Since 1974, You Have All the Rights to BLAME Them All to Those Authorities in Your Governments and Their Reporters as Well, For Blocking You from The Awesome News of The Millennium Coming Down from The Almighty Creator.
Here Is the Truth Which They Have Been Blocking You From, Ever Since 1974.
The Almighty Creator Sent HIS Messenger “Dr. Rashad Khalifa”, PhD in Chemistry, a Scientist in 1974. He Was Supported BY Irrefutable Scientifically Proven Mathematical Miracles in The Arabic Quran, Based on Number “19”. Number “19” Happens to Be in Chapter “74” of The Arabic Quran Named, “Hidden Secret”. The Almighty’s Messenger Was Sent to The Most Important Community in The World, (U.S. of A). These Scientifically Proven Miracles Based on Mathematics, The Exact Science, Shaken Off and Dusted Off the Arabic Quran from All Those Distortions Throughout the History. And Now We Have the Only Scientifically Proven “Arabic Quran” Based on Mathematics, with Corrected Chapter Numbers, Verse Numbers, And Corrected Spellings in Our Website: (www.religionwhistleblower.com), Despite Those 50 Different Arabic Qurans Being Printed All Over the World Which, They Are All WRONG.
The Scientifically Proven Arabic Quran Comes with Sets of Dietary Instructions Which Tells You Exactly What to Do in Order to Be Happy, in Perfect Security, And Being Provided with Provisions, in This Life and in The Hereafter, Despite Those Garbage That You Hear from Those Preachers, Rabbis and Mullahs Whom, They Just Feed You with Their Own Nonsense Conjectures without Any Proofs from Those Distorted Scriptures.
The Almighty Creator Calls HIMSELF as “ELAH”, or “ELOH”, or “AL ELAH” Meaning “ALLAH” in ALL of HIS Scriptures in Their Original Languages in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic Language Yet Wicked Humans Made Up 4200 Fake and False Names for HIM. This Is Called “Shirk”, “the Ones Who Place Partner with ALLAH”.
The Excellent Literary Composition of the Arabic Quran Interlocks with Awesome Mathematical Composition to the Point That if You Take Away Even One Letter It Could Easily Be Exposed. One of the Main Function of the Scenically Mathematical Miracle of the Arabic Quran Was to EXPOSE Those Two SHEYTANIC VERSES Added to the End of Chapter “9” By Those Who, Were Copying from Prophet Muhammad’s HANDWRITTEN Arabic Quran In Order to Praise Prophet Muhammad. That Was How They Started IDOLIZING Prophet Muhammad After His Departure Up to the Present Time. This Shows that Those People From 1400 Years Ago Up to 1974 Did NOT Deserve to READ the Original Arabic Quran Written by Prophet Muhammad’s Hand. Just look at Those So-called Muslims Who, Left the Arabic Quran for Those satanic Books Long Time Ago. They Are Among the MOST Unhappiest Creatures on Earth. Although, the Almighty Creator Respite Them For Some Times Yet, They Have Been Idolizing Prophet Muhammad ALL These Year. You must know that you would NOT find any of those Rituals in today’s so called Muslim’s in ALLAH’s Arabic Quran. They are only following from those sheytanic books written by human devil.
Pay Attention Please, From ONE Creator We Made Up 4200 Fake, False and Manmade Religions with Those Ridiculous Outfits Yet, ALLAH Has ONLY and ONLY ONE RELIGION and that Is:
      “SUBMIT YOUR FACES TOWARD ALLAH”.
That Was the Religion of ALL of HIS Prophets and Messengers from the beginning of this Earth to the End of The World but, sheytan Is Doing His Outmost.
ALLAH Is the Only TEACHER of HIS Arabic Quran, Just Make Sure Those Misled Translators DO NOT Teach You Their Own Made Up qurans.
You Must Know that the Arabic Quran Is the FINAL TESTAMENT and It Was Sent to ALL the People in the WORLD and Prophet Muhammad was the Last “PROPHET”, “NABI”, Meaning the One with a SCRIPTURE, But NOT the Last MESSENGER, “RASOUL”, the One with Irrefutable MIRACLE from Our Creator.
There Is an Especial Knowledge in the Arabic Quran Called “HIKMAH” Which Only Could be Found by People Who Have a “Pure Heart”, “Qalib Motahhar”.
I Am Sure You Must Have Studied Our Past History and Noticed the Consequences of Rejecting Our Creator’s Message. As We Have Been Noticing That Ukraine and Russian Government Did NOT Tell Their People About the Almighty’s Message Although They Have Been Informed Many Many Times Before. So as U.S. Government. That Is Why They Are Suffering from So Many Disasters Yet, The Worst is On the Way. As You See These Disasters Are Going to Come Down More and More Yet People Are Completely Heedless.
You Should Know That the Almighty Creator Is the ONLY JUDGE among HIS Creatures, The All Gracious, The All Merciful, The All Knower, The All Hakim, The All Schemer, and The All Avenger.
All of These Today’s Disasters Are the Consequences of Our Shortcomings. Save Yourselves and Turn to Your Creator Before You Leave This World as a Loser Because the Worst Is Coming.
{Thank ALLAH Who made me Dedicate 32 years of my life to ALLAH and HIS Arabic Quran and HIS Scientifically Proven Mathematical Miracles in HIS Arabic Quran. That has been awesome blessings which I could never thank ALLAH enough}.

The areas north of Dallas and suburbs were fine and are essentially flood-proof. Slight elevation and creek infrastructure differences make all the difference when it comes to flooding from heavy rain. When looking at moving, rather than generalizing cities or states it's better to do detailed research on the specific neighborhoods using government maps and historical records. Same with looking at crime maps. Crime can be bad in one area, but a 30 min drive away it can be nearly non-existent.

      “When God Has Had Enough” by Steven F Gooden-Cohen ( Jeremiah 9-15 & Isaiah 45 )
      SONG & LYRICS
      When God has had enough
That’s when Things are gonna Start to get Rough
      When God has had Enough
You Should Turn Before Things Start to
      Get Rough
Hurtful and painful, Broken, and Shameful
Humbled and Lonely, Angry and Tearful
Sadly it's Needful, To Help You to See Thru
The Truth You’ve Abandoned, The Love
      You’ve Were Handed.
      So Flat on Your back
      Down on Your Knees
      Open your Eyes So within
Your Heart You will See Call on Him
      ELOHIM!
      MMMMMMMM
When God has had enough That's When
Things are gonna Start to get Rough
You Should Turn Before Things Start to get Rough
      Before the Fire Destroys
And the Sword and the Blood
      The Curses and Plagues and
      The Droughts and the Floods
      Then The Enemy Invading
      No Peace in Your Crying
      Cuz Everyone’s Dying
      No Hope You Are Finding
      Although You Keep Trying
      You Cant Stop Crying
      You Keep Denying
      God is the One
      The Hope And The One
      Alpha Omega
      Beginning And End
      No Other One
      You’re Holy and Mighty
      The Alpha Omega
      First and The Last
      The Beginning and End
      Who Have I But YOU?
      To Depend on To Do
      Rescue Me
      Deliver Me
      Reveal to Me
      Oh Lord
      Oh Lord
      I’m Calling on You
      I’m Calling on You
      OH Lord
      Oh Lord
      6X
      When God has had enough
      Things get Rough
Boastful and Prideful. Lustful and Sinful
So Violent Confusing, So Greedy For Money
So Judgement is Needed To Help You to See fully
      The Truth You’ve Abandoned,
      The Love You’ve Remanded
So Now Flat on Your back
      Fall on Your Knees
      Open Your Eyes
      So Your Heart Will Recieve
      Call on your Master
      Maker, Creator
      ABBA ABBBA
      ELOHIM
      Oh Lord
      Oh Lord
      Deliver Us
      Deliver US
      Oh Lord
      Oh Lord
6x When God Has Had Enough
      It's Too late

Ground was so dry that you can see cracks everywhere if you are living in the country side. We had rain between lewisville and Gainesville and as soon rain touched ground, it was gone. Cities have this problem because poor drainage, destroying the few hills we have, cutting trees and pouring concrete, the water runs faster on concrete than open fields this is why it get collected faster and this is the result. Get use to it because this will be an often problem.

I live outside NYC and we have been having some flooding issues in parts of our town. Not from rivers, just massive rain and the sewers backing up. One day while walking my dog I ran into the sewer crew cleaning and checking the lines with cameras. I ask them if our lines were undersized or if the lines were blocked. He told me everything checked out fine and our lines were oversized. He said the issue was our 100 year storms are happening a couple of times a year now. My friends home have had to be gutted once this year already.

Meaning there is a 0.1% chance this level of magnitude will occur in any single given year. Not every 1000 years. You can have 1000 year storms every single year and it is still accurate.

Pray to God? Tell Him your anxieties. Read in the Bible of stories of God's saving people. Exodus has parting the Red Sea, one of the stories of Elisha with Elijah in 2 Kings 2 of the Holy Bible (I use KJV, ESV or HCSB) has the parting of a river, some of the Gospels (The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) have stories of Jesus the Christ providing food for thousands....
It might be helpful to listen to stories of other's testimonies of God providing for them here on RUclips. God will provide. Edit: in response to commentator(s) I will clarify what I should have before. I meant "God will Provide" as a name translated from Hebrew as to the function of God.

99.9% of us saw no flooding here in Dallas. DFW has big network of lakes / reservoirs, and hundreds of miles of gigantic water pipelines that all work together to channel, gather, store, and deliver water all across the region. We just opened another $2.3 billion 150 mile water pipeline 4 months ago to put us decades ahead of the population curve. For 99% of us here, we saw no flooding and had no problems. @HappyMe33 If you choose to live in a river valley or on a flood plain, the state bears no responsibility for that. If you choose to live in a house with out a source of heat because you fail to understand the dangers of cold, the state bears no responsibility for that.
Since 1908 the state of Texas and many municipalities there, have enacted numerous laws and ordinances through the years to mitigate the dangers of flooding.
Governments are under no obligation to protect you from any thing other than a military invasion, even then it is the people's responsibility to defend ourselves.
