Ive noticed some silly huge frame drop that werent happening before the update, as well as some random ping spike being more consistent, maybe thats just my shitty internet but the frame drop is definitely noticable

Plus, what happens if they start policing edgy stickers with guns that are traded back and forth? Are you accountable for accepting it? Do you need to remove the stickers? That destroys them and their value.
I think if they try stopping it people will just find ways around it and make a game out of who can take it further with the limitations they could impose. Completely taking away the costume placement would be an option, but then what would happen with the crafts already made? imagine they take it back and edgy crafts become rare and valuable. Just let them do whatever they want.

There was an update that no legit player is going to talk about, the anti-cheat update. There are two new things, one new vac live detection (inline hooks on existing vectored exception handlers), and the fact that player animations aren't always networked. In csgo the server didn't send you info about a player unless you were close to him, that got removed in cs2, you could see from spawn to spawn. Now you still can see the enemy position, but their animations arent updated unless they are close to you. This will affect cheaters playing hack vs hack and shooting across the map because they will need to predict/guess the bone positions
That Zeus kill range has definitely been altered (we'll have to wait to see if Valve patch it to see if it was intentional), it had much more drop off until the patch.

I think it's a great change that actually makes the taser even remotely viable for once.
Also what I randomly noticed yesterday (even though not many people care that much about skins), but mac10 lapis gator is again blue like it was in csgo cuz in cs2 it was more like greenish looking skin. Also sapphire knifes are improved aswell and look way more blue and sapphire looking like in csgo aswell. So basically they improved lapis gator mac10 and sapphire knifes back to csgo look.

The update introduced a lot of bugs for me and people I played with today, some couldn't plant the bomb or defuse, couldn't hold a grenade or crouch, levitating when crouching and going backward plus a lot of FPS drops. It also f*cked up the binds for US QWERTY keyboards... Lost a few games because of those anoying bugs.
we had cobble references, now we have Tuscan References. hopefully they amount to something and not a half assed inclusion like Italy not even being a comp option
I think Valve didn't include scaling to make sure that the old skins keep their value. Because there is no more bigger sticker placement for weapons like P90 and AUG, all stickers are now the same size no matter where you place it.
If it's the same cost, it' absolutely op. You dont need more than one bullet since you're probably going for the dropped weapon and you dont have to aim like pistols

So about the 5 stack, you can´t queue with people that is way lower elo than you. I tried to queue with a friend who has 11000 elo and I´m 21000 and I couldn´t start the match.
Lost my rating due to inactivity and played 5 stack with friends who had 18k rating. So the new update does not affect players who lost rating due to inactivity
Nah, better the way it is now. It’s more skilled now, know what weapon you hit someone with and where, know how much blood came out. Those who are skilled will have a good idea of what damage they dealt.

Hello, regarding the rating difference, as i have seen, it is not only for unranked. i tried playing with a friend with 6k (I have almost 17k) and we couldn't play. I think this is for the same reason. I do not know what the difference should be though
You can’t bind something on the command button (little upper 2 on top on tabs). Was using it for push to talk now you can’t for some reason. So pissed about it, going backward by removing user freedom 😡

For me the shooting felt ALOT better with the new patch, in fact I had the first time fun playing CS2.
The fact that they changed the M249 sound is interesting, makes me wonder if they have something planned for it. Apparently they remember it exists.

Try increasing your max bandwidth or setting it to unrestricted. Also try the buffer smoothing

I think free sticker placement is fine. Just give an option to hide stickers when spectating. No need to make fun illegal.
