    I was watching some of your older videos. You made a comment that some people don’t like long videos or videos everyday. I say the more the better.

    Last Saturday night, we got about 4 inches of snow in FortWayne Indiana, just a bit to early for me, I haven't even got my AC out of the window yet, weatherman said it sat a record for our area, as far as amount of snow this early, if I had money, I would have a winter home in Arizona, out in the desert .

    OHHHH. You caught my interest when you said Mack. I have had a Mack for the last 4 1/2 years. Great video. I use to do OD loads in the mid 80's. To old now. I am 60 with over 4 millions mile., By the way my Mack is a 12 speed. Which makes it a Mack-matic. Thanks for making my night. By the way, you talk funny. Of course I am a Texan so everybody talks funny. LOL

    Hello Sergei what a transition in the weather go from 30+'C in Florida to Perry Sound ON. down to freezing and 6 inch of snow on the ground looks nice , take it easy and be careful on the highway for slippery conditions , take care only 90kn to your destination . It was nice of them to unload for you ! So where to from here now Sergei back to Camebridge ?

      +dave allen I'm heading back home. There was a potential heavy load in Sudbury but it wouldn't be ready until the end of the month; so I ended the day at the same rest area just south of Parry Sound, ON where I started this morning! The snow has all melted; the power is back on in the building, and life is back to normal. Gotta love Lick's Homeburgers!

    Sergie, you got good defense against the cold virus. Going from Canada cold to Florida warm back to Canada on snow, by this time I would've had a bad cold with temperature changes. And also dealing with truck stops where this time of the year, a lot of people are sick and everybody have to grab that Pilot or Flying j door handle to enter and that's where most people grab that virus from someone sick.

    Sergei with all the wind resistance on this kind of load you should be allowed to charge a wind surcharge fee for all the extra fuel you have to purchase. Or perhaps all of that is already figured in the freight rates for oversize shipments. Well atleast fuel prices are going down in the US again now.

  • @bulldog0046
    @bulldog0046 9 лет назад +1

    Sergei i was wondering and maybe someone else could answer this, when you had your truck built is there a reason why you didnt get a steerable lift axle? Does a steerable lift axle have a lower weight rating?

    • @jekylljr-trucker7238
      @jekylljr-trucker7238 9 лет назад +1

      can't get a steer axel with a set of duals on truck not enough room, would have to go with a float tire and with a float tire you lose some weight rating .

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  9 лет назад

      +bulldog0046 originally i wanted a lift axle with single tires; the rating would have been the same 20,000 Lb. having dual tires is safer as you can still limp to a tire shop if you get a flat. as for the self-steer axles, they cost here about 3 times more than the traditional one I have. the high cost was the main reason i went with a conventional 4 wheel pusher.

    • @bulldog0046
      @bulldog0046 9 лет назад

      +steve nyvonne lyons im curios how do you loose weight rating with a wide float tire? im asking because alot of company's are going to the super singles over the duals?

    • @jekylljr-trucker7238
      @jekylljr-trucker7238 9 лет назад

      Something to do with the spif law up here in ontario I'm a gravel hauler I do believe we lose 1500 kg with a float/ super single tire over a set of duals ... I've seen cobra Stargate custom manac end dump manufacturers actually modify their frames to accommodate a set of a duals to take the weight maybe different in states I don't know

    • @jekylljr-trucker7238
      @jekylljr-trucker7238 9 лет назад

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  9 лет назад +1

      +diaztrucking1 the one that 1) records in file format compatible with your computer 2) has the mike FACING THE DRIVER, for those times when you feel like saying something smart 3) has a steady FIRM connection to the windshield, or the picture will be shaky and hard to watch 4) has a minimum resolution of 720p at 30 fps, or better yet 1080p, if you expect to be able to read the license plate of the dumb truck that hit you when you went to have a quick lunch ;) 5) can work 24/7 using the vehicle battery power.
