Sergei, you singing in Russian while driving down the middle of a bridge into the USA and waving at construction workers may just be the best moment ever. Great video!
what a great job pulling into the scales...your years of experience are really showing. I really enjoy Heavy Haul TV. I like the fact that you allow all comments. I follow this cute couple operating as team drivers and if you post any comment they don't like, even the mildest criticism of any kind.....poof it's gone. They are also really sensitive about their wealth. They run their butts off, so I said they were obviously in the 6 figure club...a reasonable assumption...poof, comment gone. You'll be happy to know that your channel trounces theirs in viewership. You run an interesting program, my compliments to the Director
when I load those I use some old tires at the bigining of the trailer so the tracks don't damage the lil ramps and also gives you some traction when beginning to load the machine
Built like a Mack truck ! Cool video. Greetings from the town that had the largest Mack plant in the world: Allentown PA trucks built at plant 5C. Now made in Macungie PA and Hagerstown, MD, USA
Some nice skillful driving, especially getting onto the scales. Your videos are always extremely interesting but what amazes me is your technical knowledge. I am ashamed to say that, even though I was a professional tour coach driver and worked for a company, apart from knowing the basics about the coach, I had no technical savvy at all. We were not allowed to do anything apart from our daily checks - oil, water, lights etc, but everything else was under control of the engineers. Best wishes from Ireland. Mike
Hi there uncle Serg. I noticed you didn't like what the tracks of the machine did to your trailer. Eventually the edges of the ramps will be bent over and out of sorts. I put a couple strips of 3/4" or 5/8" steel straps on the top of the ramps. Weld them on both inside edge and outside edges. It doesn't affect the structure integrity of the ramps just makes them stronger and last longer.Thats were all the stress and total down pressure from the machine is when loading and off loading. Great video as always.
I should be mandatory law!!! When you are fortunate enough to be witness to Uncle Sergei and heavy-haul-tv, immediately exit your humbled vehicle and bow down or kowtow comrade!!! :)
At the start of the vid I thought you were joking about the loader at first with how you were standing and saying how it looks smaller then it is then I saw it being loaded and wow it is decently big. Keep up the good work
The cute team driving couple spent 15 minutes droning on about California's new plastic bag law in their last Vlog. It has 890 views and they've sent 25 comments into oblivion for criticism. Heavy Haul uploads garner nearly 10K views consistently. It pays to not be boring
i reckon a wee bit more western... Donegal?? because of the "like".??...a Ward and Burke machine, they're from Ireland, but have a lot of plant in Canada..
Rogers from Canada: same account; same data plan; they charge 5 bucks a day for US up to maximum of 50 a month; no need to change phone numbers, SIMs .... I like it...
Because often shippers are not sure about the EXACT weight... I was 2.700 LB over 60K on the trailer. Got stopped at a scale in Ohio ... they said I was okay and let me go ... The outcome might have been different if I showed up with just 7 axles.
Sergei Dratchev oh. Since you do cross country hauling in Canada and the US, how much weight are you allowed per axle? At the company I work for, our biggest excavator weighs around 65,000 lbs. When we move it, we have to use our 55 ton lowboy and we have to get permits. We only have tandem axle trucks without lift/pusher axles so when we are hauling it, we have the weight on 6 axles. It might also be different for you since you travel far distances. The farthest we go with it from our shop is about 15 miles all the way around.
all jurisdictions are different, but normally you get 52K LB for the 3 axles on the truck (12 + 40) and 60K Lb for the tridem on the trailer. That's gross weight ... So, 12+40+60 is 112,000 LB. Then you deduct your empty weight (truck and trailer) and what remains is the maximum PAY LOAD you can have. In case of your 65K excavator, 6 axles would be enough, and you could have moved that machine with a 35 or 40 ton trailer.
It's hard to explain to somebody who did grow up in Russia. But back before WW2 - right after Communists seized the power - , there was a lot of construction going on in USSR (Russia) and young Communist members were urged to quit everything and travel to extremely remote areas to build power lines, railroads, gas lines etc. etc. So, a big propaganda machine was created and romantic songs were a part of that. One famous song was about 'driving/travelling to see the fog (trees, birds)..." but sarcastic types quickly came up with alternative text used with the same music ;) Where the original song read, 'I am travelling to see the fog", the alternative version read, "I'm Travelling to See the Money, Only Fools Travel to See the Fog." ;)
Catfish O'Hanlon not quite sure where he is or where he is going but the southern US uses pretty strict bridge laws, if he were in Michigan or something he could have done it with 7 axles. To move a PC 490 it takes 9 or 10 in the south, even though it can be done on a 55 ton trailer because it's just above 100k
why are there low profile tires on the pusher axle and it does look like the airbags are on the limit looks like the pusher needs to dropped a bit more off the frame
@@HHTV60 thanks for replying uncle Sergei, I’m making my way back through your videos. I go back a year then watch till I’m caught up then repeat, I suspect I have a lot to catch up on, being bed bound at the moment has it’s advantages Love you
Sergei dose D.O.T ever jump your case about you pusher axle controls being on your dash rather then being in your side box or out side your truck. The ideal fifth wheel height for low boys is right around 52 inches you can stop by a trailer dealer and have them shim your fifth wheel. 4.10 rears ant bad and you have 22.5 your over all axle ratio should be around 4.22. I ran 4.11 on tall rubber but I had a high HP cat 55k on truck and 62 on wagon I'd would have moved the load forward 2 ft and flipped the axle up save on fuel and tire ware
Did you lose your driving gloves? If someone that watches your videos buys this rig and he/she shouldn't be able to come back at you and say that you did not mention all the negatives about the truck.
Electrotechnology&GeneralEngineeringStudents I could do TONS but it's an ambiguous term here: imperial or metric? you have to specify each time. most people think a ton is 2000 on (imperial ton). pounds are simpler.

19:10 Sergei is the King of the bridge :D
Good vid Uncle Sergei, Just like the old days. Nice to see you back to making more detailed videos, Stay safe. ;)
The people waiting at the bridge probably thought you were part of the construction crew and were annoyed anyhow. Keep on trucking. Good work.
lol some body's in a good mood , your crack'n more jokes lol the singing , i dont know though lol but it adds entertainment value lol
Very good video. I've watched all of them . That's what use to do is haul pavers and stuff like you . Good job. Keep on trucking
Uncle Sergei creating a scene on the bridge! Awesome!

glad to hear you've wised up to the tall rubber and 4.10 gears
You should go up to a SWIFT or WEINER WAGON driver and say " yea my load weights more than your whole truck"!
That Mack sounding good
Nice to see a compact machine with a full size cab now. Cat stepped up with the new model

that's what I did on the previous trailer (Kaufman). Might need to do it with this one too...
Great video Sergei!! The Cat 335F looks really good on your truck and trailer setup!! Looking good hauling Newer Cat Iron!!!!! Stay Safe!!!!
I should be mandatory law!!!
When you are fortunate enough to be witness to Uncle Sergei and heavy-haul-tv, immediately exit your humbled vehicle and bow down or kowtow comrade!!! :)
no, that's too much. a simple military hand salute is more than enough. but you gotta wear a Russian army hat ;)
you are sure getting some nice loads lately, if you keep with the heavier loads I would build a nice slide frame ramps on the new Semi that you get.
It looks like the spacing between your three axles are pretty close, but the tires on the pusher are a little smaller.
60' spacing between all 3 axles and the flip axle
Some have commented on the use of the flip. I don't like to max out the axles and I like the extra stopping power.
Uncle Sergi you know you are big time when they shut down bridges for you !!!! Peace
One of your best video's, thanks.
i enjoyed the singing as well translation please and a safe trip Conrad
You rock Uncle Sergei!!!
Nice norther Ireland accent 😃
worked with those lad's all good men sound
russian accent
He is Russian
At the start of the vid I thought you were joking about the loader at first with how you were standing and saying how it looks smaller then it is then I saw it being loaded and wow it is decently big. Keep up the good work
Mac sounds good.
Awesome video Sergei, Heavy Haul TV RAW lol
12:28 - Interesting, those RPMs/MPH are the same as my pickup truck, and I have 3.73 gears and only 8 speeds.
Nice, I pull those on a Cozad 16 tire lowboy
Песня в тему:) Спасибо за видео!
thats actually a third lane on the bridge two lanes for the cars going the busy direction single lane for slow direction.

So when your turning corner does the flip axle also lift like your third axle or does it just stay on the ground?
Ian Carranza it's catapulted forwarf, kinda like a baseball on a high pass. then I play with my road speed to try and catch it.
Sergei you baby that truck... lol
It appears that your pusher is of a smaller wheel/tire size, too, and that may exacerbate the apparent axle spacing.
Nice, a bit of DBT at the end
Aye, heard that northern Irish accent there myself...
You should sing more in your videos haha
dang.... that is a small arm and bucket for such a large machine!!
I get that comment from wimmen all the time.
trenching bucket for small diameter pipe
What is the stopping distance from 60 MPH with a load like that 335 on the trailer?
Thats ram forest rd in aurora. Quite a few heavy vehicle mechanic shops on that rd
He ain't heavy, he's Uncle Sergei
I haven't watched you in a while and that's a really good job loading Sergei
Sergei, one other thing... in Oklahoma, you're only allowed 8000lb on pusher axle if your dump valve operates from inside the truck.
nice bit of music at the end...sounds familiar.
Sounds like CAT driver was from Northern Ireland from the sound of the accent
i reckon a wee bit more western... Donegal?? because of the "like".??...a Ward and Burke machine, they're from Ireland, but have a lot of plant in Canada..
Welcome to York Region, Uncle Sergei!
Modern Technology............. AMAAASSSYYYYYYZZZZING!!!!😱😬😰
You must have had that attractive female patrol guard on your mind when you typed "Peace Bride"....😂

Спасибо. И тебе того же.
Make sure you snap some pictures of the Mack and the new axle. All 80 feet of her!
If you have your drone, maybe flying footage?
why was the second bit of the arm red?
Probably a different manufacturer.
company colors.
Great video ! Keep going uncle Sergei ;)
Nice vid Serg!
Which GPS are u using btw?
LG tablet with always-on Internet
how do have it in the US and Canada?one account or two ?
Rogers from Canada: same account; same data plan; they charge 5 bucks a day for US up to maximum of 50 a month; no need to change phone numbers, SIMs .... I like it...
Have you ever considered increasing your wiper blade size ? (Just a thought)
Sergei, is the cost of permits noticeably higher?
probably not ..
Why did you need the flip axle on the trailer?
Because often shippers are not sure about the EXACT weight... I was 2.700 LB over 60K on the trailer. Got stopped at a scale in Ohio ... they said I was okay and let me go ... The outcome might have been different if I showed up with just 7 axles.

Sergei, It's February in Canada. Roll up the rim time.
I'm sticking with Lottontario ;) The chances are better.
Great video Uncle serg.
What were you singing if you don't mind me asking I swear ive hard that before and it's bugging me to try and Remeber where
No I don't but I've heard it before I found his videos I think it be kinda cool to learn a language like that

Здарова ! как будешь работать с 4й осью на прицепе?? постоянно и не поднимая или периодически скидывать??
So how does that truck like that kind of weight with extra axle and heavy machine?!
pulls good on level ground ;) but I start shifting gears at even a 3% hill .... which is not surprising, since I'm 50,000 Lbs over the legal limit ;)
Sergei Dratchev на русском разговаривай
Sergei Dratchev тебя по просили несколько раз на русском языке тебя не понимают наши ребята
we don't need behind the seens put a hat on Uncle Sergei lol
I am not sure you needed the flip axle for this relatively modest load ..

ernest s sergei i like it when you sing in russian,i do not know what you are singing about, what the hell its sounds great, keep on trucking.
Hi Sergei, Huge fans we Love your Channel its like a nightly sitcom for us.We are ex OTR drivers. Can you tell us about how much you make per load?
Nice vídeo Sergei !
Do you have a belt squealing? I kept hearing something like that.
It's the pusher axle tires squealing as he turns.
Self steering axle looking better by the second. Lol!
***** I agree 😊
no, it's the hydraulic steering. Mack tells me that's normal.
Yikes, another reason to sell that Mack!
Sergei, you may or may not want to comment on this question. Are the rates comparable to Lndstr?
Hey Sergei. When are you coming back to California ??
hello!ai like yours videos .you do unteresting job,,terve vaan from finland,,geatings from finland!!
great post Service!!!🚛
Good job driver 👍🏻 c'mon
why are there low profile tires on the pusher axle and it does look like the airbags are on the limit looks like the pusher needs to dropped a bit more off the frame
it's best to use the same tires on both the truck pusher axle and the trailer axles. they are not low profile.
MAD COOL
you need a Cummins Qsk 19 L Powered Kenworth ;-)
Sergei.. What GPS are you running ?
good video Sergei.
Don’t know if you’ll see this years later but I was wondering are you independent here?
I think with that one I was still an owner-operator working for a company. I became independent in the fall of 2017.
