You should travel to Kalmar and Öland! Best place of Sweden.

Thought i'd provide you with a bit of info in terms of the season. Since your coming here in the summer. Denmark in June, the sun rises around 4.00 & sets around 22.30. More or less the same in southern Sweden, the further north you go the longer it's gonna be up. Not knowing what you're used to in terms of the sun rising/setting, you might wanna bring a sleeping mask unless you wanna get up really early of course , or never go to sleep🤣. All the best from Denmark ♥

Train rides in Sweden are usually very nice and the trip can go smoothly. Sometimes though there can be problems, for example work on the rails during summer, fully booked trains or some other stuff going on. check out the traffic info online (the train stations you are travelling from or the train company) before your trip and on the day of, and be sure to catch the announcements at the station! Sometimes, if you travel by train from Malmö to Stockholm, a 1st class ticket can be cheaper than a regular one. Depends on how far ahead you book. SJ, Omio and Snälltåget are companies you can check out. Be sure to download some of the apps if you can. Remember Sweden is mostly cash free. :) Have a great trip!

Some times it's cheaper to fly then to go by train in Sweden. Depending on where between and when you travel. Some times the X2000 has realy good value when rinding it. And if you fly from Malmö to Stockholm there are many ways to get to central stockholm. An start to look for some place to stay pretty soon. Al lot of hotels are fully booked all summer all ready. And it makes all the rooms you can book now realy expensive. Or if you like to gable just get to Stockholm and se what you can get as a last minute booking.

-TiP: You will find 7-11 all over Copenhagen. 7-11 is not cheap. Use some of these shops instead: Netto, COOP, Rema1000, Lidl and Aldi. If you need a luxury shop, Magasin Du Nord is the place.
Strøget is a pedestrian street, filled with expensive shops. At least film something there, to show your wife 🙂 All the famous brands are there, including Lego.
As the foodie you are, don't miss Reffen, it is street food from all over the world. Remember to buy a hot dog in one of the regular hot dog stands around CPH. Ask for "a roasted hot dog with it all. Without raw onion". If I remember correct, you do not like raw onion.
Bakeries, they are all good. They won't survive if their product is bad.
Buy some food and in one of the above-mentioned shops and make your own little picnic. There are a lot of parks in CPH, so there are many chances for a little picnic. Eating and drinking is perfectly fine, also beer and alcohol.
Rosenborg Castle is a must. You need to book online. Price about 20 USD. But in the price, you will see the crown jewels. They are still in use on special occasions. Also, a filming matter for your wife. 🙂
Free stuff: Besides picking your navel, there are changing the guards at Amalienborg, each day at noon.
Free kayaking in the canals, if you promise to pick up rubbish you find on your way. Free kayak for two hours. GREENKAYAK.
Free trip in tower on Cristiansborg Castle (with elevator). It is the highest point in CPH it is also our parliament.
Free peek in our City Hall. Look for Jens Olsens verdensur in there(Jens Olsens worldclock).
Free spanking. In our law there is an old one, still not deleted. If you see a Swede walking on the ice to Denmark, you are allowed to beat him with a wooden stick.
Ask if you have any Q's, just ask.
