This is my favorite silent film, the score is beautiful, the cinematography (for its time) is beautiful and I love the chemistry between Swanson and Valentino.
Swanson said Valentino was just a regular guy who liked to cook spaghetti and had a good sense of humor. No movie star attitude. Of course, he also had a screen presence that clicked with the camera and millions of cinema goers too.
this film was presumed lost.was found later on in Amsterdam,holland in the collection of an old film buff who owned lots of silent films and he then passed away .the film was still in the old film cans ready to deteriorate with bits and pieces scattered about ,but was saved by film restoration people.all the titles were in dutch but later translated to English.

one of rudys modern dress roles,none of sheik costume roles,though there is a flashback of the two leads in period clothing.
