One day, i knew kh3 was coming out, and i decided to play them all in the ps4 final mix collection. While i was doing it, i was getting through a really drepressive era in highschool, i had no one to talk with, and the homework was difficult as hell. Kingdom hearts was my emotional support, and it is even nowadays. I almost cry when i saw he finally made into smash, this is also a game that help me to connect with my dad, after all he bought them all back in ps2. Im so glad this is happening, thank you sakurai, and Nomura, your are saving my heart from darkness. And of course, thank you Yoko shimomura, for this amazing ost!

KH1 Hollow Bastion in my opinion was the best version of all the games. The soundtrack and gameplay was just so much more memorable and even when I most of the games, this one still sticks out to me the most.
I mean it is the original version of hollow bastion/Scherzo di notte which just makes it more nostalgic and emotionally impactful than any other versions of it after.

I strongly believe that the chills and feelings this theme transmits and the whole "mystery" surrounding hollow bastion and later radiant garden were the missing factors that people were looking for in KH III. HOWEVER, I should say that that whole mystery was revealed and worked through KH 1 and 2 which is why it was not part of KH 3 which was more the resolution and conclusion of all the events that started in KH 1. Did we miss radiant garden in KH 3?, Hell yes!, that's why they sort of put it in the REMIND DLC, however it will probably come back in KH 4.

I've beaten the story mode too many times than the necessary amount but I cannot shake the urge of playing it again every time I hear it's music! DAMN KH3 is gonna be bigger than diablo 3
@stevieFFmaster I played this game when my brother borrowed both his friend's playstation 2, this game, and the sequel, and I must say this one tops all the others. I wish I had a playstation 2 of my own so I could play this game through again simply because it is that incredible!

@DarkMind95 on kh II hollow bastion has been taken over by half and it change to Radiant Garden, and BBS when Hollow Bastion name is called Radiant Garden , and KH 1, Hollow Bastion is when the heartless is taken over everything , maybe that's the reason these themes were more threatening than KH II (and much darker, never played BBS btw lol), and yes i agree with you, in KH 1 we got nothing except wooden sword, that just worst and i almost died many times if not because of Beast XD

Hollow Bastion was established as having once been a buitiful KH1 and the good guys manage to take the place back during that game. In KHII there in the process of returning it to it's former glory and it's Sora's base of operations so it's ment the music sound hopefull and your ment you feel at home. In BBS we actualy get to back in it's glory days and the music is suitubly glorios.

Back when this theme was threathening. Nowdays it sounds just like any other themes...... why did they ruin Hollow Bastion in KHII and BBS? Remember what build up this place had? Remember when your best friend took your weapon and left you survive with a wooden sword? We were all there once. Enemies were threathening and you always knew that you couldn't fight unless you had MP for spells. Beast was your best friend. And now, Hollow Bastion doesn't have any of the dark feel it had back then.

I disagree. Places like Hollow Bastion give the game it's own identity. Hollow bastion made the first game more atmospheric (End of the World finished the job at that), Kingdom Hearts 2 didn't have the same charm as the first one, and I think that BBS was the weakest at that category. i want the sequels to make every single element at least a LITTLE bit better. It's very distracting if the game changes it's style like that.
