For quick fix i did what alex mentioned & with a key pushed down the gear release button..when i got home i preformed this action & baby..got my keys out of ignition. .easy fix! Thanks guys!

My lever it’s broke. The little black lever. Another thing you can do is press the little button on the right hand side of the gear and move the gears. It has a little piece you have to remove. It’s by the N but on the opposite side. Can’t take the key out but can drive the car.
