Full Flight: American Airlines B737-800 Philadelphia to Chicago (PHL-ORD)

- Hey guys! In this video, I start my trek westward once again with a flight over to Chicago, Illinois from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania aboard an American Airlines B737-800. This particular 737 was equipped with AA's Oasis hard product which basically crammed an additional 12 seats onboard - in turn reducing legroom, slimming seats down, removing personal TVs, and making for a less enjoyable experience for Main Cabin customers. On top of that, AA still doesn't come through with any service whatsoever on flights under 2 hours and for those above, it's a very bare minimum service. Drinks are by request only across the country which makes American the last carrier now to still not come through with a formal drink service. Thankfully, this was a shorter flight, even if it was completely full, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been. At least we arrived into Chicago on time and without a hitch, also having some nice FAs onboard. Hope you guys enjoy!

Call me crazy but Terminal B/C and the connector hall between them is one of my favorite terminals in the country. There’s just so many shops and space.
I live in Chicago! And I’m going to Guatemala in august 5! Me and my family and cousins wake up at 3 to get to ohare by 4. Then we take the security baggage check and we have like a hour to kill. We go and eat some breakfast and will head to our gate on a boing 757-200 for the first time! I’m so excited!
This guys needs more subs. Straight up.
The wife and I just flew AA's 737-800 (N841NN) from MIA to CLE on the 12th. There was 9 planes in front of us when we started to taxi, and I believe 6 when we finally took off!
Missed my original flight ✈️ from Philadelphia to Chicago in 2014 due to a 7 hour delay on my flight ✈️ from Tel Aviv. Shows that connections are hell
I love your graphic descriptions, especially calling it the Sears Tower! Thanks 😊
I really enjoy your use of subtitles over commentary! It makes it a lot easier to focus on the actual video and sometimes I'll just put in earbuds and listen to all the sounds distraction-free. Thanks for making these!
Flying over Chicago , someone was obsessed with their "arrows" of direction! LOL
Howdy, excellent video and review as always Chris, good see that AA has been keeping there good crew streak going for a while!😸😸
Another great vid! I look forward to your posts. Always well done and interesting, even if it’s a route I’ve already seen you do. I feel like I could navigate my way through PIT even though I’ve never been there.
Just got back from a trip to Myrtle Beach from Michigan, and I flew there using American Airlines. It was a pleasant experience! I have nothing bad to say about the flights at all. Although, I am sure there is better service on other airlines.
A lot has changed on the Boeing 737-800 (N861NN) Aircraft ✈️ and many of the older ones from 1999, 2000, 2001, 2009, 2010, or 2011. Those types of Aircrafts ✈️ use to have the Old Interior with the Folding Overhead IFE TVs 📺. That’s messed up that American had to remove the Older Interiors plus the Folding Overhead IFE TVs 📺😔.
Very good video! ORD is the biggest airport I`ve been to. Thanks for sharing.
PHL is my go to airport and there is so many places to eat in each terminal 😂😂
Awesome trip report like always. I'll fly to Philly next month for the very first time.
I've been watching your content for years Buddy. Always great content. You are underrated. You deserve 1M subs
1M subs and beyond!
Great work Chris, I told my boss I’m of to Chicago when I see these feels like I’m there to
It's a huge shame that they removed the PTVs at every seat. They also removed that AA safety video as well.
Watching Robotnik in the Sonic movie cracked me up!
AS does fly PIT-SEA so you're not stuck with AA when flying to the west coast. A long haul AS flight would make a neat review.
Another great video! This is my favorite aircraft of all time! This seems like a nice flight too! Can't wait to see what is next!
A is definitely one of the more pleasant philly terminals but AFAIK NOT the newest. That would be F, the commuter/regional terminal, which is honestly comparable to McCarran's D gate concourse in terms of how spacious it feels. Grew up in Philly, now live in Vegas, spent a lot of time in those two Airports ;)
Great work on all the content recently. It’s really putting me in the mood for the summertime travels.😎☀️. Great work!!! (You made my day at 7:55)
23:13 that's what I call, a very friendly Flight Attendant
But That should be normal. like in Europe
I like that, your right Money,do you have tv at every seat
I always like the music in your videos , it's been particularly good lately
it's very engergetic.
I'm going to fly to Pensacola Florida and then drive to Alabama from there on friday
I see your Auntie Annie's but raise you Qdoba as best airport food! I was almost jumped by an entire economy section on a Delta 767 from ATL to LAS after opening a burrito after their joke of a snack service 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:59 letss goo! 💪
We have to get a few more of them and I will have a good
Love that “Money bulls*it” graphic because that’s true
If your flying American from PHL, does it matter which terminal you get dropped off at ?
@thejazzguy13 Aviation when did you get your vaccines?
But the way this plane never had PTV’s, but it originally had overhead screens
Nice full flight video! I know I was in Chicago yesterday on a Metra train to catch another one to go to the northern suburbs to visit my cousin who flew from NYC earlier this month. And then on the way out, I went to Evanston and rode a CTA Purple line train that had an aquarium like interior. It was actually a Share Our Planet advertisement inside only almost everywhere around the rail car.
What is the hardest landing you ever had in a video
to flight attendants: Thank you same to you
I had to connect through our hair ones from the tickets to the city
28C arrival.😁😁
I wanna do videos like this on RUclips channel how will i be able to do these type of videos
That was the funkiest intro music ever!!!

wait til the Midwest Express (round 2) inaugural flight happens
Enjoy your flight ✈️
7:55. LOL!
What was wrong with taking Amtrak?
Flying is better, it’s that simple.
I only was once in America's freedom city. In September 2019 arriving from Berlin on a cramped 767. 2 hours later we left for LAX.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me, thanks!
Hmmmmm maybe he’s going to Honolulu at some point maybe after Denver
Beautiful daytime flight! Next do a flight Chicago to New York 😉
You’re not in charge
I heard that American airlines will retire the 737-800
They retired like 30 or so and will continue to retire them
This is Lee seaso pokai speaking.
Awesome!
You are so talented at filming and editing that if you made movies, they would be very high-grossing movies.
Denver to Detroit next vid idea
AA=AS It is what it is
I did a flight on AA from FLL to JFK and never again. Delta was way better.
i rarely fly now. what group would they put me in?
4:43
Interesting American how you fly east to Philly just so he can connect to a flight that takes him back west and further west that flies him over his origin or Pittsburgh to land him in Chicago

O'Hare is by far the worst airport I have visited or flown into/out of in America. I will never use that airport again for anything. Everytime I have used that lousy airport I have been delayed or something and missed my connecting flight.. AA is becoming as bad as US Air used to be. Thank heavens US Air is no longer operating... Nice video though :)
Perhaps you could try ohare again after their 8.5 billion dollar expansion and renovation is completed
