Some people have commented on the official video comment section, that they think this song is "boring". I disagree because the calmness of the song is like an evil mantra that sneaks its way into your brain and then you're hooked. Basically I think this may be the most "evil" song he has written as simple as it may seem lyrically. They didn't play this live when i saw them a few weeks ago but the show was amazing and Tobias is an amazing front man and the Ghouls and Ghoulettes singing background are awesome. Fantastic show and can't wait to see them again.Great reaction and glasd you liked the song.

This was the first track I ever heard from Ghost. My cousin's daughter and husband introduced me. I have been hooked ever since.
Yes, MEDIEVAL! that medieval sorrow and despair, that ominous feeling that I always have when I listen to Ghost. That's not just music, that's an entire different animal. I've never experienced such a feeling from listening to other more, so called, aggressive bands. It's something i can't explain.. it's just beautifully evil! And yes, that "sunshine" accent, like you, gets me everytime :)))
Meliora was my first album too and I was shocked. Since then I listen all of their albums back to back to back compulsively. I see others saying "man, that's some scooby doo sh.., that's not metal, bla bla" ...You damn right it's not! You just don't get it, because you're not musically and mentally sensitive enough.

Tobias, the lead singer, has repeatedly stated in interviews that the themes of their videos are purely for entertainment and shock value, like Marilyn Manson & KISS before them. It's theater and stagecraft.
