- Classic footage of the Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice at Universal Studios Florida in 1991. You don't see stuff like this anymore at the Universal parks! The first part shows a 5 year old version of myself meeting Egon and Ray. You'll notice my Dad tell Egon about the "haunted" piano at our hotel. He says they'll "Check it out". Well in an awesome coincidence, the next morning, the piano was not in "demo mode" and I thought they really came and busted the "ghost"! The second part features the same actors facing off against Beetlejuice in a wonderful show that really was hilarious with the right team, and these guys nail it! I hope you enjoy this slice of late 80's / early 90's nostalgia!

I have to say Robert Dean Wells did a spectacular job playing Egon Spengler.
He looked the most like Harold Ramis.
Amazing to have you leave a comment Robert! I've seen a number of other videos on youtube featuring this show with different actors, and I got to say, you were by far the best of the bunch! Thanks for being such a great "Egon". You really helped leave quite a magical impression on my 5 year old self!
Have to say, the guys really did look the part. Egon's hair is exactly like the movie, and Ray looks like Dan Aykroyd.

I wish I was lucky enough to see this show, but I was born in 1991. It seems like the best things happened before I was born. It seemed like a lot of fun, especially for Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice fans! :) And Robert performing as Egon was spot on!

Funny you should say, and thank you. Had a guy at a bar I used to frequent call me "Russell" because he thought I looked like Harold Ramis' character Russell Ziskey from "Stripes". I will aver that that is likely why I was cast as Egon for Universal Studios.

Have to say I'm in full support of a Beetlejuice/Ghostbusters crossover. Boy there's a fight i'd be hard pressed to pick a side for, as I love them both. ^^; A little sad they didn't get the rights to use the actual Ecto-1 siren in this though. :C

Wow I would have flipped out if I saw this one when I was a little girl... I had never seen Ghost Busters before, but I loved Beetlejuice. Still do. Huge fan of Burton in general, actually. Sad they didn't have BJ use more of his magic here, though.

Which is cool, although they couldn't use the proper siren. 6:23 Also for some reason I can see them making that Slimer character in a animatronic furby/baby yoda type toy... Because as a Furby fan, he is very Furby like... Especially since there is Ghostbusters afterlife coming in June 2021

I'm friends with the Beetlejuice in this video. I'm part of a Ghostbusters group and he is in our group, still as the Juice. We do comicons and parades and stuff. Hes still just as witty and funny as in this video.
