I cannot wait until this thing arrives at my door!!! This truly is the most exciting RC motorcycle ever made.
That’s because every generation before it sucked big time. Not one of them was worthy. But this one requires more procedures than it takes to fly an airplane. From “Flying is an option. Landing is mandatory” to “Riding is badass. Turning off the flywheel correctly is mandatory”. But then I turn on my upgraded SCX6 Honcho with 2 switches and it requires 2 batteries to make it run. One to go forward and backwards and one to go left and right because of the high voltage servo. There was a learning curve. That’s why the servo has its own switch next to the esc’s switch. I’d forget to unplug the servo’s battery

This damn thing requires a Master Class. And a college degree. My state has the most PHDs. They would all be confused. I’m having doubts myself. I’m an experienced RC enthusiast who’s done a lot of RC for over 40 years. In the air and on the water too. And I’m afraid of the learning curve. My college degree means nothing. Maybe I’ll buy it when it can do Bubba Slides. I’m good with my fully upgraded SCX6 Honcho or my Traxxas UDR. My big boy’s big toys. Sixty five, retired and wondering if I should buy an RC motorcycle because of the learning curve not the price. I saved up for my retirement. Thanks goodness. RC got f**king cool! And I’m also building an SCX10 Pro. And thinking of building a DR10M modified dragster and a Bully Crawler 2. The last chapter of my life is badass. My bucket list is completely checked off. The ProMoto MX is an afterthought and not necessary. Isn’t that badass? I can (easily) take it or leave it. Just buy it and suddenly throw it away. Disposable. Income. AND I’m a RETIRED STONER‼️

I’m loving the content coverage on this RC we need this more often. Can I charge that 2s pack without the balance lead or do I need a spectrum charger?🤔🧐
I believe the G2 Smart Batteries need a smart charger bc the middle wire includes the balance and other chargers won’t recognize that. If I am wrong someone correct me but I’m pretty sure that’s why other chargers won’t work.

@@burn1gotbeats Same, I was looking at all the upgrade parts too and if you do all of them plus a set of Pro Line tires your looking at 1,200 bucks. I will say though that I will probably baby mine but who knows. Ive been posting some RC content so I will def do a video showing the upgrades and install.

Do you have the BT2000 card for the ms6x controller? I have just put the BT module in and read the settings from the controller and now all the end points and AUX channels are messed up. I dont know what the default settings are for this bike. Do you have a video or any help?

I ordered 8am day of release from Tower Hobbies and was told it won't ship out until the middle or end of July. Not very happy.

I bought 2 on pre-order. The green one in June and the red one on the first of July. I haven't received either and can't get any answers on the eta of my order. Pretty bummed as others that ordered at the same time as the first batch and got theirs. Seems many are in the same boat as me. What's going on Losi? When dodo we expect pre-orders to be filled at Horizon and other dealers? I really want to wait if it's not going to be months before my order is filled. I also ordered the new Losi baja rey 2.0 Method 4-wheel drive. super excited but bummed about not receiving the promoto mx yet. Any eta, please?
Sorry for the rant. It's the most exciting RC to hit the market in over 20 years IMO. I think yall underestimated the popularity and amount of pre-orders. I knew right off the bat it was going to be the new greatest thing in surface RC and sell like hotcakes. Which is why I pre-ordered as soon as I could. Hope you can give us an ETA soon.

Can you show us how to program DX5 Pro to use with it? because I will be using my DX5Pro.
Can we use lipos with balance plugs?? Is there space to cram that in the battery box? Or does it just sit in the exhaust cut out?
there should be enough room in the exhaust however that depend on if the lead is long enough to reach. If not it will hang.

What's the actual run time with the stock 50C 5000 mah 2S Battery ?
Hi can a different rx and tx be used ? Or is the esc an all in one many thanks
A different RX cannot be used since that is what has the technology, you can however upgrade to a DX5C, Rugged or DX5Pro with a firmware update on the radio. More info in that coming soon!
When is it coming to Europe?
Right is Left and left is right ...of all the videos I've watched for this promotion none mentioned that. I feel that will be a tough transition for most. Wish I'd known that before my pre-order.
Hello. I had Sky Rc, another moto rc and it's the same thing. Right is Left and Left is Right BUT it's not difficult. In Five mn you understand that ;)
You turn the steering in the direction intended and the bike goes that way, it’s the front wheel pointing in the opposite lock direction that initiates the lean, so not hard no

That is how you steer your bicycle and/or motorbike.On the surface the bike will go left if you steer left on the transmitter. The front tire will initially turn right though to get the bike into the lean angle needed to drive the corner.
You still steer the way you want to go and the bike still goes that way,
Its just that with these bikes (and real motorbikes) you turn the bars right to go left and vise versa.
Just set it up so the front wheel goes the opposite way to what you steer, trust it works and don't even think about it again 😄
Being new to the sport, I wish you would tell people what those 4 knobs actually do and how to adjust them. What is steering sub trim? Nothing in the manual either.

Can you ride the bike without the flywheel on? especially for onroad track conditions?
did you even watch the video ..or the part where he says "the motorcycle will not run with the flywheel off"?
Sorry you cannot run the motorcycle with the flywheel off however you can adjust the MS6X knob which allows is to transition faster... check out the PL video for SM content :)

Hey guys I’ve noticed plenty of RUclipsrs making videos with the new promoto bike. But they are all red or blue. I haven’t seen a green one since rc driver (who got a pre production model) I put $ down on a green one at my local hobby shop and they have received red and blue models but no green. What gives with the green ones? I could really care less about the battery or charger I just wanted a green one and here I wait…. Anyway just wondering how long I’m gonna wait for my bike Thanks
Mine didn’t come with a battery
wish losi would have install an audio sound module of a real motocross bike and that will be more awesome (kinda like the slash with OBA by traxxas)

Very disappointed with mine got to run it twice and I believe the ESC has already burnt up

From what I've heard the red one's will be coming in first. Possibly by this Friday. After that the blue one's will come in a week or two after. Followed by the green one's.

Not really understanding why they would set the steering up in reverse out the box. Right equals left and left equals right. I understand it has to do with the Gyro thing but seems to me they would have explained how that can be changed so people don’t mess this thing up straight out the box. I dunno about you guys but reverse steering for me is a cluster and I always make mistakes by turning the way I never intended just bc most RC cars turn right when you turn the wheel right.
Yeah you would of thought someone would have mentioned it... I mean it's only the steering it's not like it's an integral part of the equation. LOL

BE VERY CAREFUL before buying ANYTHING from LOSI when you live in Europe.
Losi/Horizon simply discontinued the supply of essential spare parts.
For example,
The Losi Tenacity DB pro is still sold new throughout Europe but a center driveshaft can no longer be purchased in Europe.
I think it is unacceptable, you pay 560,- Euro for an rc car and Horizon simply stops supplying essential spare part
I've send an email to Horizon but their reply was simply, "We can no longer order them".
If this is the way Losi/Horizon treats their costumers I will never ever buy anything from Losi again.
Over priced hype train on its way to a crash and burn.
