3 days of Moab adventures and I gotta say, I love this little 2-door.
Have you gone on trails with a 4-door accompanying you instead of the Tundra? Interested to see the differences when going over the same terrain.
@@JobuRum not yet. Gotta get back together with my buddy Fronco Bronco and hit some trails.
Best music in an off-road video hands down! I’m tired of the typical drone shot music in EVERY car camping video now days. Good work man!
These videos are better than therapy.
Thanks!!!
Love seeing the two door. I'm looking forward to see you get out of your comfort zone and do some tougher trails in it!
Man that's awesome! So beautiful. Time.... if only we could pause time.
Comment of the year right here
You gotta get some ForScan mods happening! Damn seat belt chimes, door chimes, double honk, bambi mode, ALL G.O.A.T. modes enabled!
Wish I could, Ford Legal would have my head.
Enjoying your videos and routes, Sir! I've got a Gen 3 Raptor inbound from the Dearborn mothership right now...I'm definitely taking notes on where to run it when I get back to Utah when I have the keys. Hopefully by end of month, but that seems to be unlikely right now. Cheers and thanks for the righteous content!
That is so freaking awesome. The new Raptor is a beast! If I could fit one in my garage I would 100% have one.
Post your videos of your off roading the gen 3. Love my 17 gen 2. Love the new bronco also. Would get a 2 door if I ever get one.
I mean, I guess I could turn my channel into a Gen 3 Raptor version of Justin's. I just didn't think enough people cared, haha. Thankfully I just took delivery of my truck last Friday, so could definitely make that a reality. Thanks for the suggestion!
BREATHTAKING BEAUTY COLORS VIEWS LANDSCAPE SCENERY WEATHER & AMAZING DRONE FOOTAGE ! AWESOME CAMERA WORK WITH THE DRONE ! FINALLY SEEN A COUPLE SPORTS DRIVING AROUND WERE I LIVE THEY SAY THEY'RE GETTING GOOD GASOLINE MILEAGE . THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME TAG ALONG WITH YOU ON YOUR ADVENTURE🙏 BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED
🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨
Thank you!!!
I have the exact same Bronco except mine is the Area 51 color. I totally agree that off the lot, these 2 door Sasquatch Broncos are blowing my mind also. Thanks for sharing!
Shout out to the pioneers who paved those roads.
Great captures! Some amazing shots and usage of the surround camera features of the Bronco. (Nice use of disclaimers too)
These drone shots are A+
Amazing terrain. Great video! Thanks for posting. Can’t wait for the Bronco Off-Roadeo at the end of February.
HURRAH! Cows like Mice… 😝 Love your videos. And agree….. love my Bronco too! ❤️🐴
What are you using to mount or hold the rescue boards please
What is the tire rack you have for storing the mud boards and the box? Also what is that tire pressure gauge you used?? My bronco should be here this year!!
Chicken Corners trail is the name
I've always liked to drive out Kane Creek canyon, lots of varied roads and scenery. The road past that creek crossing used to be narrower and more suited to 4WD, and the creek crossing itself was a little more difficult. Now they've widened and graded that road going south towards Hurrah Pass, it still has a rough surface though. They've also built a lot of new camping areas out there. We drove out there in October and it was a real muddy mess. I've bicycled up and down Hurrah Pass long ago, the downhill part was pretty exciting to me. Somewhere near the top are some "caves" that are supposed to be interesting. You should go down the other side to Chicken Corners. Trying to go south into Lockart Basin (towards the monolith) can be very difficult. I've seen vehicles less than the Bronco do it, and I've seen vehicles better equipped than the Bronco have trouble with it.
Living these videos man. I had to settle for the bronco sport cause of the wait. But can’t wait to get the full size
Fun vid Justin, keep the content coming, thanks for all the hard work getting them out to us
Great video. You KILLED those drone shots!
The higher altitude drone shots make your Bronco look like a vintage Bronco. It looks cool.
Like a vintage bronco? Well yes... The original was scanned to make the current one... Lol. Just a modern twist on the original
Plan to go there someday if Ford ever gets my reservation completed. Nice video. Thanks.
I keep seeing more and more Broncos on the streets so it has to be soon!
@@JustinBMcBride hopefully. I have a reservation from Nov 2020 and still no build date. Thanks.
Looks like you found your trail! "Top Gear Shot" is as good as it gets, nice ring, I have the same one! Also "Cows are like mice" = gold, they really are. We have what I like to call "mountain cattle" out in the Black Hills, and they get into some precarious locations. Great video, Major Tom is putting in the work for you.
i'll be bringing my rig down to Utah is may! Maybe we can meet up for a road trip and i'll help ya with filming. If you ever make it north to Canada, I'll show you around! Keep up the videos!
Who is doing all the drone work while your driving? Is it on auto pilot or a pre programmed camera move?
Rob from Revere Overland was flying while his wife drove the Tundra - they make quite the team!
Love this trail, did it in my 21 RAV4!
love the drone shots man, keep it up. I need ot visit moab again sometime soon... still on the fence between a wranger willys and a bronco.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this. Great views and great temps. I need to get up there soon. Again, great content!
Thanks for tuning in!
What is the rack on top of your tire I have seen stuff similar but that is definitely the best one
It’s the American Adventure Labs Spare Tire Platform.
Keep it up, I'm enjoying the content. I'm in your neck if the woods. I have a 2dr Badlands with sasquatch and LUX in Velocity Blue ordered and can't wait to hit the dirt.
7:00 driving towards the edge is ballsy
Good Times. I saw your video from winter in Yellowstone. My wife and I are guides, next time hit us up and we'll get you in a Bomb. Those big yellow busses are horrible. We're in Idaho Falls, Waiting for spring so I can get my new 2 door Rubicon out for some camping. I'm on Facebook
I am planning my first trip out to Moab in July. This seems like the perfect first trail to try with some great views! Thanks for sharing! Major Tom looks great!
You should!
Be prepared to deal with brutal heat in July, just a heads-up.
@Landon Echols yeah figured we do some early AM hikes and I'm definitely planning to camp at a higher elevation...but am open to helpful suggestions...though that's why I watch all of Justin's videos! 🙂
@@Jackalope_Outdoors Nice, it'll be great! Bring lots of water and research trails ahead of time. I usually go the week of the annual car show, which is a week or two after Easter Jeep Safari. Good times!
Hurrah Pass to Chicken Corners is great, Long Canyon, Gemini Bridges, Onion Creek, Schafer trail and first part of White Rim, maybe even Lathrop Canyon. That will keep you busy for awhile. Your first trip to Moab there are plenty of things to do even if you stay on pavement.
I love the Moab area
Music is on point!
My wife and I have been thinking about getting exactly this trim of the Bronco, however, we have a larger Roofnest Sparrow XL RTT that we love but the stock roof rack won't cut it. Can you talk about possible 3rd party roof racks for putting more weight up there? Do those 3rd party options even exist at this point? It's a brand new platform so maybe we just have to wait a bit for a good solution to hit the market. Love your videos! Can't wait to see more adventures.
Can you link the spare tire rack that the Roam case is mounted too?
Have you had any concerns with the roof rating of the Bronco (dynamic 110 lbs and static 450 lbs) and putting a rooftop tent and rack? Would you feel comfortable with 2 people and a pet/child assuming they could fit within the tent?
Utah local here. Breaking in my 4dr badlands. Love the content. Ever considered a meet n greet/day out on a trail? Love to hang out & discover some new destinations.
I get asked all the time about these. Doing anything like that requires insurance and an on-site paramedic. I know it sounds like, “Nah brah, we just meet up and hang.” But doing anything official with a widespread invite makes it an official gathering for my business (which is my channel) and it gets really complicated really fast.
So, I attend the occasional event that is run by larger organizations. For example, I’ll be with Ford at King Of The Hammers, and occasional I’ll catch Overland Expo.
But hosting a meet up isn’t anything I want to take on.
How do they maintain the roads? Seeing no corrugations on a dirt road is unheard of here in Namibia. 😅
Moab does a really good job of keeping everything accessible.
Replace tie rods yet? I'm hesitant to baha speed with those little guys in my 4 door badsquatch. Per a Ford engineer who helped build the Bronco, it's a must do for anyone who may speed on sand or does moderate+ rock crawling. For at least a few months I'm waiting on a bumper, shocks, and other upgrades to move past preproduction but I'll be upgrading those lil tie rods in the next few weeks.
No issues with tie rods yet. I also haven’t changed tire sizes, so I’m really not crazy concerned with that.
Love you video bro, and your car is awesome!
That's a pretty sweet storage set up on the back tire!
Yea, it is. Can you let us know what, how you did it, also the max trax mounting?
Thanks man! More metal in the soundtrack!
Spotter? I don’t need no stinkin’ spotter!
Would love a comparison between the 4runner/JK/Bronco 3 manufacturers all in the same category.
What is the name of the song at the 9:00 minute mark?? I can’t find the name😫
Definitely would like to see the bronco on some more difficult trails,
Yeah - we were limited because of Rob's stock Tundra.
6:45 wow just wow
Did you make a video on how you mounted that Rome case and your max trax that is a nice set up thank you for a great video
Not yet. It’s on the way though.
Loving the Bronco videos!
Total noob here but what tire gauge is that?
A1 Production Sir McBride. SALUTE!
The drone footage was amazing. Curious how you get that, is there a follow mode or are you controlling it?
Me too
Do you think the roam box and traction boards are gonna be a permanent on your build?
I can't say anything is ever permanent. But right now, I love this setup.
@@JustinBMcBride awesome! Your a cool guy and your channel is amazing. I have been binge watching for days! Thank you and keep it up we all love it
Justin, was trying to find some content about that platform you have sitting on top of the spare. Where did you pick that up?
It's from American Adventure Lab, I have a full video about it all on the way!
Which drone ya using!
The DJI MAVIC 3 Is Everything You Want It To Be!

Any advice for my first overland trip ?
Don’t take more than you need. Know your route. Tell friends and family your plan. Carry a GPS communicator/SOS beacon. Know your range and have 25% more food and fuel than your trip requires. Enjoy the trip, stress leads to mistakes.
Awesome vid! Can you do a POV of Bronco ripping it through some dusty gravel roads? I'd love to see it on Baja mode.
Yeah! The last 20 seconds of this video were Baja mode. I want to get the audio figured out though. I love the way the engine revs in Baja mode and I want that in the video.
Great views!
Looks sooooo fun
Great content as usual! What tire deflater are you useing?
It’s the Indeflate! geni.us/indeflate
Justin, do you have any videos on how you shoot your drone sequences while driving? Is someone else controlling the drone?
@revereoverland was flying on this one while his wife was driving.
Are your amber fog lights street legal? If so, do you have them hooked up to the factory fog light switch (i.e not an aux switch)?
I’m not sure they are. Because I have the badlands with the modular bumper, I don’t have a factory fog light switch, so they are wired to one of the six auxiliary switches.
What rear tire mount rack is that? Also what does your tent weigh, I heard the roof rack is 100ish dynamic and 400ish static? Have you had two people stay up top and if so do you have an estimated weight you've had on the rails? Thanks!
You’re right, the weight ratings on the roof are in those ranges. The tent is the GFC Superlite, it weighs in just around 80 pounds without my bedding, and under 100 with my bedding. I haven’t had two people up there yet, but my wife and I combined aren’t all that heavy, so we should be just fine.
The Spare Tire Platform is from from American Adventure Lab. I have a full video in the works on what is going on back there. Stay tuned for that one.
Who makes the spare tire rack
It’s from American Adventure Lab - here is my detailed video: This Is The Only Spare Tire Carrier Worth Owning | AAL STP

Just curious, what drive or mode did you have the Bronco in? All in all I watched all 3 days out there and it looks like a great time and both vehicles did really great! Have fun; be safe.
For most of this it was slippery, I don’t think this trail needed 4-hi. It was pretty basic.
@@JustinBMcBride a good AWD system almost replaces 4H and can be better in some instances. Thanks for the reply.
Love the cinematics and descriptions of the trails. Only criticism would be the music just doesn't match the visuals. Not saying the music is bad, it just doesn't fit right with the video. Overall enjoying the updates tho!
I always feel weird using cinematic audio on RUclips, it feels weird. So I'd rather keep it upbeat. But thank you for the feedback.
@@JustinBMcBride also super pumped to be picking my 2 dr up soon, any vids coming of how you gear (tent etc) performed on the trip?
Love the Bronco. Any videos coming out on that sick gfc tent? I know you did one last year. Was wondering how you like it?Looks like it was made for the Bronco.
Unfortunately, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
I get that you pack rooftop tent and gear to camp, but do you carry enough fuel for a multi-day overland loop like that one? The Bronco is awesome and super capable, but off-road, the mileage is even worse than on, and with a relatively small tank, its got short legs.
Is there a vehicle in existence that gets better mileage off-road than it does on?
@@reeter7D No, but my point was that the Bronco gets pretty bad mileage and the tank is relatively small, so even in the best conditions, the range is not super long. All of the added weight and off-road gear does make it worse. So, the question was about the need to carry extra fuel for multi-day trips.
Must have missed the video where you explained the air down rig?
It’s the Indeflate. I’ve talked about it quite a bit. geni.us/indeflate
Backing up from there looked
Like a pain 😅
was hoping you'd beat that Bronco up and go on some technical trails the same way The Story Till Now has been.
Hope to see that sort of thing on some Utah trails in the future.
I was limited by Rob’s stock Tundra, not by the Bronco.
What sort of fuel economy are you seeing so far with the 2 door Sasquatch? Any worries for longer trips?
This is exactly my biggest concern. I get around 16MPG highway and around 13-14mpg off-road. With each fill up I’m seeing around 260 miles total. So off-road trips are cut to around 220 miles. Range anxiety is real, however I have my friends at TrailRax working on a solution that should allow me to carry up to 16 gallons of spare fuel, essentially doubling my range to over 440 miles.
I too have fuel concerns. Let us know what TrailRax comes up with. Right now they don’t show any Bronco accessories on their website.
Love the content JTM… quick question. I’ve got the Indeflate, and love it. Only gripe is with the ‘hanger’ that came with it. Never seems to adequately hold the pressure regulator. I noticed that you had a nylon strap of some sort. Have they improved the design and now include that strap… can it be ordered as an accessory, or is it a DIY that you designed? Would welcome any input you have. Thanks again. Carry on!
This all came with my kit. Maybe bump the folks at Adventure Imports to see if yours is missing something.
I have now watched all your vids. Here is an unsolicited review for you to instantly disregard 😋
Filmography: Amazing! you really have this part nailed, including music, composition, really everything about the filming process.
Gear stuff: I like your reviews, I think you have a good eye for quality gear and I think you set up your trucks nicely.
Off-Roading: here is where I think you could use some work. You need more adventure stuff like pony express but with better visuals and trails. Come up to WA state and do the BDR, or Idaho BDR.
Camping, and lifestyle: i would echo what a few people on here have said, I think you need some more focus on the camping setup at camp. Camping and living at camp is a big part of overlanding, and I think you need a bit more of it to balance out the driving and also show your gear in action.
PS if you did wanna come up and do WA BDR or ID BDR and want a buddy let me know. I overland a Suzuki Samurai if you wanna see a real micro overlander...
Wow! Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate the thorough comment! Taking it to heart! 👊🏻
@@JustinBMcBride awesome!
It's bummer you couldn't get any Bronco SWAG to wear!
Haha! They’ve given me a little bit… 😂
Nice visuals, and the Bronco looks great! Nothing personal, but way to much music, hearing the tires and engine is what people want, not your playlist, but thanks for taking the time, the drone footage was great!
Yet I have others comment that they loved the music. Different strokes.
When collab?
You have my number.
Good cinematography, if I were you I would think about a little more scripting your commentary a little bit.
It’s a vlog. Kind of defeats the purpose. I do have plenty of scripted content, these just aren’t it.
Its essentially a jeep. 🤔
Curious, I just had a Jeep, and while there are similarities, I would say some of the “essential” features are what set it apart.
Goat modes, IFS, roll cage design with airbag integration, twin turbo engine, 10-speed transmission, factory remote reservoir suspension, and factory 35” tires.
The similarities are actually quite common among other vehicles as well, the biggest similarity is the removable top. After that, it has 4 wheel drive in hi and lo, offers a disconnecting sway bar, includes seats and a steering wheel… and so on. While you may think it is “essentially a Jeep”, I’m happy to be the one to tell you, it isn’t; it’s a Bronco.
I really enjoyed watching this video, please make more. Wow, you need to research P R O M O S M!!
Purely hit the dislike base on the music selection. Enjoyed the scenery but annoyed by the amount of music and the music selection. Sorry.
