It must feel very rewarding working on it from start to finish. What a fun project and well done both of you considering it was first time. 10” is like a boat but it’s also great for other things like slappies and no complies. Good session at the end… clean heel and nice nose slide 🤘
It is definitely a big board. I liked the idea for taking a great late 80s or 90s shape and giving it a modern feel. Definitely rewarding. Grateful for Dustin and his involvement. I didn't think the heel flip was going to go. It wasn't even close the first 8. 9 made me think it was possible. 10go both feet in but it got away. Then 11 was pop POW and smooth sailing. Stay Rad.
For sure. That what this experiment was all about. Taking cool old school shapes and giving them a modern concave and a more aggressive nose and tail. I will definitely try this with other 80s and 90s shapes. It changes things.
Broo youve been putting in some work almost 3k subs fuck yeah 🔥 happy 4th brother thank you for your service ❤ half way through so far but super cool watch would be awesome to try this with a salvation deck one day form one from scratch. Ive made a penny board out of a old Popsicle stick before that was pretty fun. So far amazing video. I like the fresh cut better then the one you traced it after love the concave on it. Loving the board man sticker slap graphic 🔥
Absolutely make some boards. I remember when you made the penny. There is something very satisfying about building something and then going out and using it, and it works! Tha ks for checking it out and being part of it. I really enjoyed making this one.
It was a great project to build with a friend. However when it skated the way it did, that validated the work we put in. I will definitely reshape more 80s and 90s boards.
Fun project with desired results. Nose slides felt real good on this nose. Heelflip took some work. But we got our tricks. The board is Tested and stamped approved.
Thanks for checking it out. It definitely turned out great. And it skates great. My friend really helped bring it together. FS Nose seems to be my go to lately. Now to learn something out of them. Stay Rad Sir.
Dustin figure this out although he had never worked with concaved wood. He brought it together for sure. It definitely skates. It took some work due to the size of the board on the heelflip. Nine tries in I thought maybe I can't heelflip this board. But then 10 was close and boom, 11 was it. This is one my favorite projects I have done. Stay Rad my friend.
Heal up right and come back stronger. The cool thing about skating is that there are so many ways to skate. When my back is jacked up, I like to skate the bowl or surf skate. Low impact skating, well until you stop suddenly 😂. Thanks for being a part of the adventure.
That's the goals anymore. Fortunately they just rebuilt an old metal ramp park with a new concrete bowl about 15 mins from home. I found your channel a while back looking into the surfskate stuff. Going to give that a try too. Also, Hooters in Fayetteville ❤😂
@@philkavanaugh new park, that is awesome. Surfskating is something I am trying out some time I to because I know I can do it the rest of my life if I get it down now. The waterborne adapter is definitely the cheapest way to get into it. But I have a Yow complete (spendy) that I absolutely love in flat ground. I also have a Carver but in my opinion it does stack p to the yow or the waterborne. Keep me updated.
Nice. Would like to see more of those vids if you feel like making them. Will do, and thanks for the inspiration. Another few months I'll be back at it
@@philkavanaugh I will definitely film some more of the surf skating. I kind of use it to relax. It gets the body moving.
@@elSegundoTF front nose felt real good. The heelflip was 9 terrible attempts 1 that mad eme believe and the boom. I really didn't think I would get it 9 tries in. I don't know what the board would be best for. Maybe just playing like a kid. Stay Rad Sir. Go play skateboarding.
Thanks DanT. This was a great project and... It skates. It felt good to get out there in it. To skate the board you Invision and feel it come alive. The heelflip was a bit of a battle. I thought I didn't get the clip. But when I changed out the battery, there it was. I was stoked. Today we setup and skate the Nightmare board. More to follow 🤣.
@@AdventuresInSkateboarding awesome yeah they sell those big uncut boards At Farskate n I’ve always been tempted to try one out, love it when it happens that way round!
I really enjoyed this process. And it skates‼️I hope you have the opportunity to build one. Someday I am going to make a mold and press so I can press my own boards.
It's a lot easier to cut with a jig saw with the pattern traced onto the bottom of the board, rather than the top. That way, you're not working your way into a corner.
Appreciate you checking it out. Definitely good to meet you guys. It was rad to watch you take on the snake run. Definitely pushes me to make a trip back down there and go full send. Stay Rad

Awesome project! The board turned out pretty rad. Kind of cool to build something yourself with such functionality and use it yourself. Good work!
Absolutely. To have a vision and watch come to reality is awesome. And it skates‼️ really happy with this. Thanks for checking it out.
That's awesome! I feel like that would be my new favorite board just because of how involved I was in bringing it to life.
It is up there for sure. If you want to make a custom let me know. The uncut decks are under $30. We will make it happen.
Always rad seeing a board get built. Looked like a fun setup. Crushed it with the clips at the end. The heelflip was perfect.
Man you zipped through it 😂😂😂.
@AdventuresInSkateboarding watched the build in 2x haha.
Nice, I didn't speed it up because there is something satisfying about watching it with the right sounds.
Yeah that's gotta be so fun! Make your own shape and sand everything!
It's cool to have a vision and watch it come alive. Definitely couldn't have done it without Dustin. And it skates great.
@@AdventuresInSkateboarding It's much more simple to do but it's the art of shaping and the physics behind it that makes it cool!
