This is an incredible act of love and compassion. What joy this will bring. I am hoping for her safe journey and re-introduction to this beautiful part of her world. Grateful thank you to the man making this act of love possible.
I'm so happy! I can't believe its finally going to happen.
I hope all goes well! She is beautiful.
It was evil to capture her from the wild and her family and put her on display to amuse people.
It has been done to human beings!
@@KingofgraceSARA AND??? Did they have to do tricks for food??
I wanna see the release!!!! Exciting time for the whale. Bring them home!!
Have you ever heard of keiko?
@@KingofgraceSARA exactly 💯
Thank you to the gentleman paying for the whale to be transported. It’ll be awesome to see the whale back in the ocean just do it don’t worry about no stupid government stamp of approval.💥
Gentleman? Not by my definition.
way way over due! Thanks for all the people that make this happens finally!
2 yrs too long freedom for Lolita sooner than later
I hope and pray Tokitae makes it home to enjoy much deserved form of freedom from the fishbowl she’s been living in. The generosity of the owner of the Indianapolis Colts is amazing💕🐳

Sometimes it is a good thing to look a gift horse in the mouth.
@@tessdurberville711 Oh stop it you ignorant person!!
It's disgusting what they have done to these whales for the sake of entertainment and money.
Why can't they just let her go! This is so wrong. Poor baby
It’s incredibly hard to accept that this was/is acceptable. I cannot fathom why teaching any child that is ok. 40 years in solitary confinement for an innocent creature is not alright.
Fifty two years.
👏👏👏👏👏
Praying for Lolita ❤
Not sure who will see this, but unfortunately the orca died in August 2023 still in captivity. Her ashes were spread over the waters she was intended to be returned to by members of the Lummi nation. The tank mate li’i did however get transferred to sea world with other dolphins of its kind. Hope that gives an update to anyone who might have been wondering how this played out
The only reason SeaWorld is letting tokitea go is financial, they don't think She's going to live much longer now they won't have to spend the money to dispose of the body. That's what corporations do, maximize short term profits.
The Dolphin Company owns 32 marine parks. After Lolita is moved and the hoopla dies down, they plan to replace her with two young Russian orcas.
@@tessdurberville711 But it is ILLEGAL to import orca's to the US and to capture them.Look it up!! (Why was Morgen brought to Teneriffa) and this aquarium is NOT SeaWorld!!
@@tessdurberville711 Source?
@@MissMarshall Several employees. Would you want me to expose you?
❤❤🎉🎉
Open Seas back home
This so sad let them free
I’m scare she will not survive in freedom just as Keiko 😢
Free Tokitae
The only reason the new owners are agreeing to release her now is because they are replacing her with two young Russian orcas. The Dolphin Company owns 16 dolphin encounters and 2 dolphinariums. Open your eyes.
Thank You. What sort of a person is the owner of a Dolphin company. It shouldn't be legal at all .
When I heard her age and that she has been ill I felt disgusted for the reasons behind this.
He'd be a hero if he stopped having a "dolphin company" let them all be rehabbed at his own
expense and then campaigned against Cetaceans in captivity . The release is Ok .The PR sickening.
@@SageRosemaryTime
It is a Mexican corporation. They own 16 "dolphin encounters" and at least two dolphinariums that also house sea lions and penguins, including Marineland in Florida.
I don’t believe you. Please give me the source for that information of the two Russian orcas.
@@MissMarshall
I will not reveal my source to a random RUclips commenter. You are very presumptuous and ill-mannered. I have blocked you.
Terrible 🏎🏎🏎🏎
Watch the documentary Lolita: Slave to Entertainment. Please don’t support marine parks.
Lolita has connection to human beings now. She will be heartbroken to be from human contact. She will be able to look at her relatives through glass? I mean, really, has the emotions of man created another half baked plan for Tokitae?
I pray that she's thrives!
They say she will have caretakers that will feed her and tend her, and that it won't be glass but a net, that she'll be able to communicate with her kind and kin.
No she won't care. She hates being there. She behaves cos she has too. But once she gets in that big space of water ,she will be fine❤
@@Bebedollie Big is not always better.
Jesus Christ some people are SO ignorant!! How do YOU want to know 8f an orca is heartbroken?? 🤦♀️🤦♀️
What happened to the albino one?
No she's dead 😢
This is animal slavery😂
Slavery is not very funny.
If you've seen the movie free willy than you've heard of "Keiko" .
Jarod
Do you know how many gullible people believe that story had a happy ending? The movie did. Only the movie.
@@tessdurberville711 Educate yourself pls. !Simon would have died in 3 months in Mexico!! So he had 5 year's where he was feeling amazing and thriving. First in Oregon where he even grew at his age and than in Iceland!! He CHOOSE to leave the boat and his seapen and was a months away with an orca pod!! They did not find his natural family Keiko had a different dialect, but the orca's still accepted him and he died because of pneumonia what goes back to his year's in captivity where all orca's get infection's and are dieing at 1/3 or 1/2 of their natural lifespan.
Toki comes into a sanctuary with human care and where she can hear her pod!! She still has the same dialect as the L pod, so they will communicate. I know you!! You are like the N.. in the 2 WW and you think you are standing over this animals. You are only afraid of loosing your animal abusing job!! So hush pls!!🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
She won't be accepted back into her pod.
She's being released into a seaside sanctuary. Watch it again.
@@freeanimals594 Her Mother still lives . mother's whereabouts are known . Hope.
@Rosemary Wilkinson I am aware and yes, we must hope for a miracle that Mom can find her. 🙏🤞🌊
@@freeanimals594 Maybe when she's in the netted enclosure they will hear each other over distances. I'm sure the rescue/release team will track her pod and help it happen if they can
@@SageRosemaryTime Would be a miracle for it to happen! I believe!!!
