I had a TM Steath driver that I was fitted for. Just got fitted for the G430 Max 10K. Tighter dispersion, reduced the slices and hooks, increase in distance (20yds) and increased my confidence off the tee. For me it was worth the money.
The Max and 10k are different. They suite different type of golfers. If someone got fit into a max it doesn't mean that they will suit the 10k as it tends to spin lower (somewhere in between the Max and LST). Westy might be a 14 hcp but he swings it at 115! Get someone in who swings it slower and slices the ball, they will struggle with the 10k. For players like Westy it's a real shame he got fit into the max :(
Agree. It's not a swing anyone could rely on for any consistency. That was an incomplete or short backswing with a big lash. Lessons would produce longer term benefit and consistency.
I would love to see the numbers on screen 😂😂. Maybe do a split screen showing ball flight and numbers. The screen is probably not on yous are probably just looking at the wall 😂😂 love the videos lads great content 👌

Your 430 Max had the rear weight moved to draw/hook bias. Since you hooked many shots with 430 Max, you need to re-test with the weight in the middle, just like the 10K (non-movable weight).
Good review but don’t like the 10K look at address. I hit the G430 MAX much better and maybe I just feel more confident with the look behind the ball. 5 HANDICAP 👊 ⛳️

You forgot to mention the max has adjustability in the rear weight that the 10k does not. That reason alone was why i picked it. If you want even tighter dispersion, if you tend to slice, hook etc, get the max.

I have heard the 10k max becomes an issue for people with slower swing speeds, something to do with the positioning of the weight on the back and players not turning it over quickly enough.
That would mean higher MOI irons are an issue for slower swing speeds. But the Max 10K is designed to be a neutral head, not draw-biased like the Qi10 Max. I love that because a left miss is 💀 for me. I'm planning to deloft and open the face a bit for baby fade bombs.
This is exactly my issue. I currently have the Ping 10k max, can’t turn it over enough so am blocking it big time. Thought it was the cold weather etc, but I’m in Turkey right now, hot weather & it’s the same. Big time push right that isn’t there with my Titleist TSi2.
@@kev12558 That's interesting. I have my 10K set to -1 flat and I open the face at address because it sits a bit square for me and I'm hitting straight bombs. My swing is probably 92 to 98 right now. I think a lot of it is feel and the rear CG is very different. My second outing was amazing but my third was a disaster because I kept topping shots. Was at the range yesterday and zero topping, hitting bombs again. I think 10K drivers have more potential than almost anything out there as we can see with Nelly Korda but they require adjustments and don't work for everyone. Good luck.
I am probably the most consciousness spender for my golf equipment, but I am actively stalking each of these clubs and monitoring used club sites, like 2nd Swing, pre-owned Calloway so when of these presents under retail I am pouncing.
So I am gonna have to say. Go get fit if you are considering paying more for the 10k. I went with my son to be fitted for one of these drivers. And after hearing many reviews just like this one….,I was positive we were leaving with the 10k. An hour and half later he walked out with the 430 Max and was extremely satisfied. Other drivers in contention were 10k 430, QI 10Max 10k, reg QI10, Callaway Para Smoke Max, Para Smoke triple diamond, And started with a Sim 2 Max. So we arent Ping pushers. He hits the ball around 270 yards with a slight draw. At the end of the day the 430 Max just performed better for him than the 10k or any of the others. Also must say the 430 Max is able to be adjusted more during the fitting process. While the 10k was limited in adjustment and was NO LONGER for my son. Again go for a fitting it was well worth the little bit extra.
The big joke is selling $ 399,g425 as same price of 430 reduction except the 10000.Ping must think we are stupid a almost 4 year old driver.Greedy Ping
When I got fitted I actually hit the g430 max the best and not so great with the 10K so I think it really depends but the 2 best drivers for me atleast that I had the best numbers with was the qi 10 and the g430 max
PXG are doing a challenge with the black ops if they don’t better your distance or dispersion they they will give you £100. With the gains you’ve just got with the 10k it would be good to see if you could get even more. PXG got me gains and better dispersion with more forgiveness. Would be good to see what yous can get
Ok next time I’ll be sure to get someone in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s & 70’s just to be sure. And make sure they’ve all got varying ball speeds so that this test is 100% relevant to every living person on earth. What is wrong with you 😂

Ping are annoying. Normal Max with moveable weight, and no carbon top, but a 10k without a moveable weight, but a carbon top. They knew they wouldn't sell the normal Max if they had the weight track in the 10k. That decision was made by an accountant.

I have the Max 10k and it’s the best driver I’ve ever owned. Distance is equal to just about everything else, the dispersion is tighter and I’m a single digit handicap. Had the exact opposite experience. I got a good 10 Yards more with the Max and better dispersion. Happy to save the $50 for better performance.
