Just purchased an FD01S in excellent condition from the goodwill auction site for 9 dollars and 99 cents. Am delighted to have it and even happier to get it for such a steal of a price...great vid!

I've had this guitar for 6 years and its still holding up well. Id recommended you lower the action of this guitar if you get it brand new. only issues I've had is the tuning pedals being a little jumpy but its overall well.

A slight adjustment of the truss rod will probably eliminate the buzzing on the high E string.

Does anyone know how to decode the serial numbers on these? They don't seem to follow the normal Yamaha formats

I like D’Addario phosphor bronze light gauge strings. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Using a pick 🔺will bring out more of the
true sound of a steel string guitar (with Elixir 12's)
    Fingers for classical 🖐️
Yamaha classicals also sound, and play great 👍

Thanks! You have no argument from me! I started learning on a ukulele and just haven't warmed to using a pick. It is something I should work on. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thanks! I tuned it, though I’m afraid I don’t have perfect pitch and have to rely on an electronic tuner. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@ComicKish The guitar I tend to pick up and play the most is my Cordoba Dolce 7/8 scale classical guitar. The steel string acoustic guitar I play the most, and that is sitting in a stand right next to me, is the Aklot mahogany cutaway dreadnought guitar. I like its setup and warmer tone. ruclips.net/video/RCw83rY_QkE/видео.html
