Just discovered your video; thanks so far. Installed Tonocracy a while ago on my Mac, but can´t get it running as a standalone. They offer support, so I wrote in. They opened a case with ticket number an promised to come back next days, but since then I have never heard of them again (although I mailed them further two times to remind them). It works as plugin with Luna, but I can´t get decent clean sounds with it. Even amp sims like Deluxe Reverb or AC30 distort heavily at lower gain levels.
Man, I’m sorry to read that you’re having a bad costumer service and support experience, that sucks and companies should pay attention to that side of the business for sure, even when this plugin is free. On the other note, where I can actually help, this plugin for some weird reason comes as a default with the input gain boosted like 10Db, that’s what makes it imposible to get clean sounds. Just drop that back to 0 and then the plugin becomes what you were expecting. Hope this helps! 🙌🏻

They have a good deal on the website now for the MAX version but I read somewhere that it takes up 500 GB is that accurate? I can't find the regular version of amplitude 5 on their website it's either MAX or the free version.
It’s the max version!! And I’m sure it’s not 500g I can’t remember anymore how big it is, but I’m sure it’s like 5gigs. Only multi sampled instruments I’ve encountered to be big libraries.
Just use Neural Amp Modeler. Free and most precise amp profiling software. Toneocracy uses NAM profiles but isn't it a product related to Rob Chapman. Main reason why I wouldn't use it.
