Late to the party as always, but yes they added more mics that makes it more in line with other NDSP plugins. This the best “X” update so far with the new speakers, mics, and new eq. That angled speaker is way more up my alley than the older straight speaker. Also, the q values for the nollys mod are different too! Think I’ll try that with our favorite Soldano suite!

Would love to hear your thoughts about Nembrini’s Amps. Igor Nembrini is the man behind a lot of amp sims from famous other brands. Their ODS sound really good to me, but amped guitar sound is something kinda new to me. 35 years on keyboards but only 10 years practicing acoustic and 3 years using an electric guitar with plugins, I never played on a real amp.
    Love your content ! 💪

@@Itsjorgelanzas Of course! The JCM800 here is my favorite from all the amp sims I've tried.

I have to agree with you!! The Marshall and the Peavey felt the most natural to play to me. I wanna play with the different cabs because that’s such a HUGE part of the sound! I’ll try to make a video soon! 😊 I hope to have a fantastic week ahead! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I think this is way more steered into the hard rock community almost metal, I think primo it’s a little more 80s - 90s rock. I’m glad this was a free update for old users, I miss when all companies used to do that 🙌🏻 greetings my friend!!

My man, I’ll be honest neural dsp is overrated and overpriced. Amp 2 of the Nolly X is a modified JCM 800 . There is nothing special about it, it has more clean headroom, that’s it. Again nothing will bring this on my table here. Compare this to the free Tonocracy plugin which sounds much better cause it’s based on the nam capture Ai their JCM 800 model smokes this absolute to the ground. You defo have to check out the Tonocracy plugin, it’s unbelievable that it is free! Plus they managed to give you a broad range of amps, in any configuration, mono, stereo, tripple stack caps, any routing possible. Keep it up buddy, cheers!

Lets goooo!!! I was hoping you’d chime in!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I’ve had this plugin for like 4 years so having this free update felt nice honestly!! But I agree with you on many levels!! Gotta try the tonocracy share it with the people! 🤘🏻 thanks again my friend!! Cheers!!

You can always count on me for some honest first hand opinion here :) as a free upgrade we can not say anything bad about them. Others are charging, but that’s not the point here. Neural DSP are faking with loudness a perceived better first time experience compared to all others. That’s just one thing that I find disturbing, once you gain match it to the others, there’s not much left. I could replicate any Archetype with the Helix Native, with advanced routing and fx option. With better distortion behaviour. Even Tonocrazy which is free blows any neural archetype to it’s ground. Better sound, feel, distortion behaviour the whole thing is awesome! Looking forward to hear your opinion on it, time to break it down:)

If can bring something to this great community I’ll share it, in times where most guitar influencers became industry klick puppets, misleading and shifting products in the the wrong direction, we have to point things out. Luckily you’re not one of them, and that’s why I support your channel. Spending your money on the right product is key, if iveould start from zero and you’re asking me wich software amp sim would I recommend, it be Toncracy all day ! It’s free, this is where we are, I would say it’s even slightly better than tone x. Something is going on with the feel of it that I’m missing with tonex. Check it out buddy

@@jorvten360also, I bought their Cory Wong model, I can’t tell if it’s the same for all NeuralDSP plugins but it’s f***g way toooo heavy on CPU (got an M1), takes half a minute to load and a latency going from 13.5 to 59ms at low bitrate (depending on the amp model). The sound and UI was pleasing but the coding is awful. As a fair’comparison, Amplitube 5 takes 2 or 3 seconds to load on my Mac and doesn’t make my CPU being saturated.
