Thank you so much, I was intimidated by this machine for months as it sat in the box. I have looked as several videos. You are wonderful as are your videos. Your attention to detail excel above all others. If I hadn't found you, my machine would still be sitting in the box.
I'm just setting up my new machine and this video as well as the video on bobbin loading have been very helpful! (much easier to understand than the manual lol)
Oh bless you! My husband got one of these for me a couple years ago but I ended up being too sick to use it at the time. Then, I apparently lost the manual in our move, and now that I'm settled and ready to jump into a project, I wasn't 100% confident of how to begin and did NOT want to waste an hour trying to unravel a knotted thread nest! Thanks for the very clear directions and especially that tip about the screw altering the bobbin tension. Don't know how I never learned that! I'm very excited that the threading process is very similar to my amazing old Bernette that finally bit the dust a couple years ago. I'm off to go whack a dress down into a skirt! 🎉🎉🎉
@@momdoesstuff thank you! Do you know what zipper foot I would need to use for faux leather? Is it the same as quitting, a walking foot? I’ve been looking and looking .
@@amyhernandez7277 Hmmm, I don't think there's a special zipper foot for leather. The zipper foot is just a really narrow foot that allows you to sew very close to the teeth of the zipper. A walking foot is very wide and has a top part that moves also to help "walk" multiples layers of fabric through evenly. A regular zipper foot should be just fine on faux leather.
I've followed both videos to prepare threads and I am ALMOST ready to get started. The issue I'm having is that the top thread is not pulling into the bottom thread? I believe the issue is with the bobbin, I have it loaded but I'm not sure if the thread is supposed to hang out on the other end or if something else is wrong. Any insight for this? I've played with it, taken it out and put it back in multiple times but it still won't hook 😅
Hi there, this video was extremely helpful to me. I have fabric stuck in my Janome and I can’t find any videos on how to get it unstuck. Could you please make a video on how to clean the machine? And take the needle out!l? And maybe how to get fabric unstuck😭it’s so stuck in there that I can’t even move the needle up and down
Oh no😕That happens sometimes. I carefully cut away what I can and use tweezers to pull the fabric out a few threads at a time. Every so often try to rock the hand wheel back and forth just a bit. Patience is your friend.
Most likely a problem with the upper thread. I would unthread and carefully rethread. Make sure you have the presser foot raised when laying the thread into the tension channel (#2). Check the tension. If sewing regular fabric, tension should most likely be between 3 & 5. When you first start to sew the seam, hold the thread ends out to the left for the first few stitches. I hope this helps!
I'm sure there are others but here's one www.kenssewingcenter.com/janome-foot-control-for-various-models.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwg5uZBhATEiwAhhRLHlMzZtLabrcJSDzwMMZobk2KWYWOTuE5sMfTjZ2a-yLwc4O3Ygy95xoC_cQQAvD_BwE

I wanted to ask what needles size comes with this machine?
Thank you 🙏!!

Do we load the top and bottom? Every time?

Can u sew 🧵 jeans 👖 with this machine???
Well, you can sew ‘on’ jeans. It depends on the denim weight you choose. Im going to do a video in a few days about the different kinds of denim.
I did all the instructions correctly but when i start sewing the string goes crazy and doesnt sew
This is so scary 😦 I will never be able to do this it’s so complicated waa 😩
You can do this 🙂don’t give up!
I got my machine and I’m so excited! Thank you for the video it was very easy to follow and understand💕💕🫶🏼
Yay! I hope you enjoy your new hobby! Thanks for watching!
