Have listened to these guys since I was a child!!!! This gentlemen here has always stuck out to me as the BEST DEEP LOW voice in the whole music industry!!!!!
I love this quartet as they bring a wonderful message to us in song. I've been listening to them for a very long time....they are the best. God richly bless you all!
I could listen to him read a phone book for an hour. What a voice. He went to the same high school as Michael Landon (then known as Eugene Orowitz) in Collingswood, NJ.
I can't believe he's 70. He looks great for 70. I would love to get this book. I'm going to Branson in November and I have tickets to one of their shows the week I'm there. I hope the theatre is selling his book.
I've seen the Oaks three times. One with the sub, other two, before and after. That didn't matter. Richard was why we were all there. The last time, I was in the front row. When they started "Dream On" I just died. I love that song, love his voice, love them all. I hope I get the chance to take my boy to a show before they stop touring.
The Oak Ridge Boys came to the Georgia National Fair and put on a good concert. I commented on one of William Lee Golden's Facebook pictures and I said to him that he and the rest of the Oak Ridge Boys ought to plan an event at the Georgia National Fair. He replied by saying this. Absolutely! That is a wonderful beautiful fun place to sing. Hope it's soon. He reminds me of Duck Dynasty and ZZ Top.
shunlvswx, yes! They are selling that book. Just got back from Branson and saw the Oak Ridge Boys at their theater. They were utterly fantastic. I didn't stop smiling for two hours. In their lobby, they are selling a number of their CDs, as well as that book. Hope you have fun at the show in November.
Same! I love bass singers. My grandmother's cousin was a bass singer in a gospel quartet for years. He passed away from diabetes on 1/5/2010 at age 69. He was a deputy sheriff and served the country in the UNITED STATES Army. He worked at the Lee County Sheriff Department and other police departments. He was 1 of the best people I have ever known.
Jeez Richard....I've always loved you but you NEED to lose the hipster look. Cut your hair down like you used to wear it! It is a much better look for you! At least you lost the facial hair. Still a great bass singer of one of my favorite quartets!
I'm not as enamored with his voice as most people are .... it's cool when he does the oom pa pa mow mow part of "Elvira" but that's as far as I can handle it.. It's annoying to hear him talk
Love that deep low bass voice of his and long live the Oak Ridge Boys music in this violent world, it keeps some peace on this earth...
Agree. He should accept himself for the stud he is.
I appreciate you doing this interview. 🎅🗿📤
You think his voice is deep? Try listening to JD Sumner.
@@kevinmiller1985 If JD Sumner was everyone's standard for a *deep voice* then less than 10 people in the entirety of this world would pass.

This is a rare true bass man right here

He is Good but not as good as Josh Turner. Turner has the best bass voice ever, period!😁

Good voice but not as good as Josh Turner.
I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert twice! Wonderful!
I can't believe he's 70. He looks great for 70.

Forget hitting puberty. He ran it over with a tank and stole its money! 😂😂😂

This is the white southern Morgan freeman
Morgan Freeman is southern.
His voice is much lower than Freeman actually 😏
He just frequently hits a G1 while just saying "uhh"
There are few things I wouldn't give for such a glorious lower register.
Sou fã desse grande baixo. 👍😎

All of the girls that screamed in the crowd when he sang.
I’d love to meet him.

Richard Stefan can give me a moustache ride any day of the week!! Giddy up!!! mmmbop a bow wow!
Your Flooring Stefan ???????
???
He used to be the slickest man in country...
he still is the man of country!
Richard Sturban n his Oak Ridge Boys :)
From a fashion affectionada to a 1960's hippie!!!
No way he is 70. Sings awsome
elliec157 75 now!
Dave B. You do have to admit, he has aged well, he doesn't look like 75
He'd do an amazing Morgan Freeman impression
They say that ELVIS PRESLEY wore a gun on his shin leg!
He's 70? No way
And a great grandfather
AMEN INDEED 📻🎛🎙🎹🎸🎷
Ele tem uma cara de mafioso italiano., voz muito legal.
he ought to have done a duet with Barry White
Love, love , love this man. Lose the hair Richard and go back to the clean cut look,!
He already has
He's turning into Eugene Levy!!
bigroy38 but a deeper voiced version of Eugene Levy
Bass Vocal Geddy Lee + Eugene Levy, surprisingly both Canadian.
The oak ridge boys were concert
Ask Brandon Lee how safe shooting blanks are, or rather ask all the actors and actresses from the movie 'Crow'.
Richard's voice is butta!
2:54 that's not a joke.
What would happen if Eugene Levy and John Lennon had a kid? This guy.
'K. Thanks for that.
Or Geddy Lee
He looks like he's Eugene Levy's brother
Joe Walsh twin?
That's not a nice Elvis.
:49 highly doubtful.

I am a fan of richard and i don't care what his hair looks like.
His hair is cut now, btw. Not that it makes a real difference.
He looks great and that is NOT what a hipster looks like.
He used to be a sharp-dressed man. Now he looks like a bum. The voice tho!!!!!
Hobo
Always been one of his biggest fans BUT trying out the long hair and looking rough in your 70's is not a good look.
I'm sorry you don't approve, and that you'll never pull that off in your 30s.
Rowdy Richardson get over it slapnuts
Rowdy Richardson people with long hair tend not to care what other people think.
I'm not as enamored with his voice as most people are
.... it's cool when he does the oom pa pa mow mow part of "Elvira" but that's as far as I can handle it.. It's annoying to hear him talk
The Oaks always seem to have one guy who looks like a dirtbag. It was Sterban's turn.
Not liking the hair 😐
Terrible hair on a man of his age! Likely a long hair wig which is unbecoming.
