I knew a girl that pierced her nose with a sewing needle, and then, after she would take her jewelry out Everytime she did her make up to "blend it around her piercing" (her words) and then when she got a infection, she said it didn't make sense why it got infected 🙃 I didn't even try to help her..she was too far gone for me to even want to give some advice to.
My mom would tell me to move my piercing around I did that with my nose and had to take it Out when I got it done I did at first and got bumps I stopped listening to my mom long story short Mom's really don't know every thing your piercer does btw your make up is on point
Also, I got a keloid on my conch piercing while it was healing and used some tea tree oil and vitamin e oil, and it went away after about a week! Hope that helps someone!
Bailey Wells I know that tea tree oil kind of dries things out, and i’ve realized i’m getting a small bump on my helix piercing. do you have any tips for keeping it from drying out? i’m trying to keep mine from getting infected and now i’ve got a small bump 😂
@@kristinloewen4444 I'm applying that too but I jxt want to know did u applied that twice a day? Plus how much time did it took for bump to went away .
I got a double helix pierced and I was CONSTANTLY touching them and I’ve had to suffer the consequences because I actually caused myself to have keloids on both piercings because I freaking played with it. DONT TOUCH YOUR PIERCINGS GUYS 😫
I know it is different for everyone but actually my second nose piercing has healed better when I changed it to the ring rather than the stud because it was rubbing my nose and the ring doesn’t tend to move as much because the skin is tighter as it’s healing
I got my forward helix done, left it in 7months and on and off it just kept getting sore then better then sore, till finally it got so bad it was just bleeding alot and I finally took it out, now I just got my nose done exactly a week ago, hoping it does good
I got a huge bump on my faith and it never went away. It would settle down for a bit then it would flare up and be worse than the last time it was there. It would bleed and ooze and I eventually took it out cause I knew it would never go away
I got my industrial piercing 4-5 months ago, but 2 months after I got it, I started to have problems. I tried a lot of different things, the best that helped get the infection out was eucalyptus oil, and H2 OCEAN. It’s fine now, and healing just great. In fact it’s almost fully healed! I love your videos btw. ❤️
Your Piercing looks nice I have the eye brow one I had it out but I had it put back in and Also I had the Monroe one for years and now I Gonna get the septum one Saturday because think it is a beautiful one to but I Wonder how it Would look i have been Deciding for about Three Weeks now ..
girrl i got my nose piercing and a couple weeks later got sick with a horrible runny nose. I got a really bad irritation on my piercing from blowing my nose so much, its frightening!
Looking lovely as always. The eye makeup is particularly alluring. I have not gotten perfect with blending and what not, but watching channels like yours has helped me improve a lot. Thank you for the tips on cartilage ear care, as well.
How long did your eyebrow piercing take to heal? I’ve had mine for 10 months now and I keep getting a small red bump next to it. I think it’s because I sometimes get caught with my hair or clothes and I’ve gotten lazy with cleaning it. But sometimes the red bump bleeds and I’ll get a small scab. I’m thinking of doing a sea salt soak or trying tea tree oil, but I’m so annoyed with the bump!
I’m having the same problem!! It’s so annoying and I’ve literally done everything I can to save it but I’m going to a piercer to take it out tomorrow sadly 🥲
I didn't know the thing about being pierced with hoops 0-0 I personally thought hoops looked really cool in rook and conch piercings, so I chose them to be the jewelry for mine and got a keloid next to the conch one and both were infected during a few weeks when I wasn't able to clean around the hoops because of irritation lmao
I’ve had my nose piercing for 2 years. it has never healed. when I’ve taken it out it starts bleeding. i don’t know why. there’s no bumps or anything, it just isn’t healing. what do I do? do i take it out and get it re pierced? can I get it re pierced in the same spot?
I got my cartiladge repierced and the piercer put in a curved barbell and it's way too long and my hair gets caught on it so I feel like it's gonna take 10x times longer to heal. I feel like I should change the jewelry but it's only a month old. But if I don't change it it probably won't heal. Idk what to do 😭
I paid 53 dollars to get my friends industrial pierced and she kept touching it... 😑 Even though I kept telling her to not.. she was like " how did you not play with your nose piercing when you got it?" I told her because I just don't touch it. 🤣 I've had the same nose stud for a year now. I'm planning on changing it at some point soon but idk when.
It can..it just depends on your body, how well you take care of it etc. For me, I also have a harder time with cartilage piercings healing..but my little sister has the hardest time with fleshy areas like her lip, earlobes, belly button, and those sort of things. Industrials typically take anywhere from 3 months to a year. Mostly because it is a piercing that has multiple holes so it's basically 2 piercings healing as once in one area.
My eyebrow piercing was pierced about 3 months ago, and 2 days ago I sprayed alcohol on my forehead to clean my forehead, now my eyebrow piercing is a little red along with a drainage coming out, I've started sea salt warm water cleaning it every few hours, and I'm soaking it with sea salt water on a small piece of cotton ball for about 20 minutes once a day, I do clean around the piercing with a q-tip with sea salt water, Is their anything else I need to do?
gold is fine to wear in healed piercings but not to be used in an initial piercing. i think it has to do with gold being such a soft and malleable metal that makes it react badly with open wounds.
I tried to change the jewelry in my nostril piercing after only two months not knowing that it was a low quality jewelry, I have a slow healing body and that the piercing was not healed at all. (Stupid past me) It caused a keloid and it's over half a year after getting the piercing done and the scarring is still not completely healed. It's getting better, but very slowly. 😩 (I got the original jewelry back in my nose though)
my regular lobe piercings still won't heal, and i can't have anything that's not a small hoop in my ears for more than a day or else it'll get all red and just get really irritated :( i've pierced and let them heal twice but i didn't go about the healing process properly both times (changing earrings and using rubbing alcohol to clean)... would it be best to take them out and let them heal again although now i would go about the process correctly
I had minimal issues with my tragus but my daith will not heal. I've had it a year and continue to have red bumps. I will do my best to leave it alone! 😫
Just out of interest, did you have your daith pierced with hoops or bars? I really want mine pierced but the guy i spoke to at my local piercing shop recommended bars as he said they heal better than with hoops, but i really do prefer the look of the hoops! Your piercings and your makeup are all lovely by the way!
My issue with piercings is always the type of metal! Shops here all use surgical steel which I'm allergic to for the most part only ones that have been fine were my tongue and belly button everything else I have to change to gold or silver within a few days of getting them otherwise they don't heal(experienced it in the past) so it's never a comfortable piercing experience 😭

@@LindsayAlisha ooo okay . thanks luvs. Might be getting that soon then lol my ears look similar to urs so i don't think I need anymore on them but I love piercings so I guess I'll do the double nostril lol :D
You can but only after they fully heal which might take a while, cuz at first it will be too painful. When I first got my cartilage pierced I couldn't even talk on the phone on that side cuz it hurt too much 😆
I've got my nose pierced 3 weeks ago, my piercer said it was a little bit infected but not that bad, he said i had to clean it once a day with a small alcohol tissue (dont know the right word haha) and take 2 ibuprofen a day, the bump got a little bit smaller but it's still not completely gone but it doesn't hurt tho, it never did

Hi there! How safe is tea tree oil for the piercings? I want to give it a try but it stinks and I hate the smell hahahaha. I also had eyebrow piercings and my body seems not to like, but I really want it there, any tips in how to keep it there?
